Formula of surface area for prism:

SA = 2B + ph, where B=area of base, p=perimeter of base, h=height

Example of surface area for rectangular prism:
SA= 2(27×30)+2(15×27)+2(15×30)
= 2(810)+2(405)+2(450)
= 160+810+900
= 3330cm²

Example of surface area for triangular prism:

SA= 2(6×4×21 )+2(3×5)+(6×3)
= 2(12)+2(15)+18
= 24+30+18
= 72cm²

Formula of surface area for pyramid:

SA = B + 1ps, where p=perimeter of the base, s=slant height

2

Example of surface area for pyramid:

SA= (18×18)+4(18×15×21)
= 324+4(135)
= 324+540
= 864cm²

Formula of surface area for cylinder:

SA = 2r² + 2rh, where r=radius, h=height

Example of surface area for cylinder:

SA= (2×22×10.5²)+(2×22×10.5×5)

77

= 693+330
= 1023cm²

Formula of surface area for cone:

SA = r² + rs, where r=radius, s=slant height

Example of surface area for cone:

SA= (272×5²)+(272×5×13)
= 78.57+204.29
= 282.86cm²

Formula of surface area for sphere:

SA = 4r² , where r=radius

Example of surface area for sphere:

SA= 4×22×5.6²

7

= 394.24cm²

Formula of volume for prism:

V = Bh, where B=area of base, h=height

Example of volume for triangular prism:

V= 12×12×10×9
= 540cm³

Formula of volume for pyramid:

V = 31Bh, where B=area of base, h=height

Example of volume for pyramid:

V= 13×(12×6×8)×8
= 64cm³

Formula of volume for cylinder:

V = r²h, where r=radius, h=height

Example of volume for cylinder:

V= (272×7²)×4
= 616cm³

Formula of volume for cone:

V = 31r²h, where r=radius, h=height

Example of volume for cone:

V= 31×(272×9²)×28
= 2376cm³

Formula of volume for sphere:

V = 34r³, where r=radius

Example of volume for sphere:

V= 34×272×21³
= 38808cm³
