I hope all is well with you and your companions. I have heard of
your conquests and can say I am very impressed with your
achievements.

If you are willing, I have a request for you.

One of my good friends lives in a small town half a day south of
Berahand. He, his town, and all traveling merchants have been
dealing with attacks recently at night.

I am aware that being an adventurer you live off the rewards of
your quests. I will offer you each 10 gold pieces to aid him with
this. Also, my friend is a capable blacksmith who will likely
offer his services to you at a discounted rate if you agree.

If you find this acceptable please go to Fishtow, half a day travel
south of Berahand by main road as soon as you can. My friend's
name is Blurg and he has a shop in the heart of town, it will be
easiest to find him there.
