Summertime
…..and the livin’

is easy..

As we return from the summer holidays and settle back
down behind our desks, it’s often difficult to catch up with

work/emails/calls and get back into the ‘old routine’!

With music festivals, gala days, the Tattoo, the Fringe Festival
and loads of sporting events, it’s certainly been a summer
packed full of activities.

For travel agents, the summer also brings the cruise ships
sailing into our waters. This year, it’s been fantastic to see so
many cruise companies visiting our shores and inviting agents
and their clients on board to see the product for themselves

and get a ‘taster’ of life on a cruise.

However, we always find (especially Gregorz) that once on
board, you never want to get off and return to the real world -
just like when you have to come back from holiday! You can
always imagine yourself sailing onto the next port of call, or in

the Caribbean, laying on a sun lounger, cocktail in hand.

Let’s hope that clients all feel the same way too!
Bon voyage!

Oceania Cruises launches Travel Partnership Hub

Oceania Cruises has launched a new UK Travel Partnership Hub, with two new trade initiatives - the reward
scheme OLife Choice Rewards and online training platform Recipe for Success, as well as Marketing Portal,
a marketing tool which was launched earlier in the year.

OLife Choice Rewards gives agents points based on confirmed bookings made. The amount of points earned on each confirmed
booking will depend on the grade of stateroom or suite booked and the points can be transferred into vouchers that can be used
online at Amazon, John Lewis and Yumbles, an online food market-place.

Agents can register for the scheme at www.oceaniarewards.com. Once signed up, agents can check their account, register
their confirmed bookings and exchange their points for vouchers worth £25
or £50 through the website or App, with Oceania paying National Insurance
contributions on all vouchers earned. Points are valid for 12 months.

Oceania have also launched their first UK online training programme, Recipe for
Success, featuring seven modules including “Who We Are”, “What We Offer” and
“How to Sell Us”. Courses take around 10 minutes to complete with a short quiz
and those who complete all seven modules will also receive points to go towards
theirOLife Choice Rewards totals.

Agents can also access Oceania Cruises’ Marketing Portal, which features
print and digital templates for easy customisations, logos and maps, an
image and video library.

Major expansion of Dubai Cruise Terminal

Carnival Corporation has signed a deal with Dubai-based holding company
Meraas, to develop a new cruise terminal in Dubai.

Carnival aims to launch new cruises from Dubai Cruise Terminal to attract new source
markets from India and China. The terminal is set to become the maritime centre of the
emirate, providing easy access to and from the city, while offering passengers views of
iconic landmarks, such as Ain Dubai, as well as the urban skyline.

Dubai Harbour will be home to two cruise terminals, capable of accommodating up to
three cruise ships concurrently, including Carnival Corp.'s newest and most advanced,
as well as up to 13,200 passengers at a time. In anticipation of an upsurge in cruises,
Meraas has planned for the addition of two more terminal buildings that will increase
capacity to six cruise ships at the same time.

The development will also feature a shopping mall, restaurants, cafés, hotels and a yacht
club, as well as Dubai Lighthouse, with a viewing platform. In addition, Dubai Harbour
will offer the largest yacht marina in the Middle East and North Africa with 1,100 berths
capable of accommodating some of the world's largest yachts, up to 150 metres.

Operations are scheduled to commence in October 2020.
