New training programme for agents

Fred. Olsen has launched a new European River Cruising Online Training
programme for agents.

The interactive programme, launched in conjunction with Online Travel Training, features five
modules focusing on life on board Brabant, destinations and key experiences, guest services and
how to book, videos and images with a short quiz at the end of each module.

To celebrate the launch, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will offer one lucky agent a free cruise for

River cruise market
on the increase

CLIA will hold its UK & Ireland River Cruise Conference in
Paris, on 10th and 11th November.

Taking place at the Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel, the conference will feature
information on new developments and trends in the river cruise sector,

as well as provide networking opportunities.

According to CLIA UK & Ireland figures, the number of Britons taking a
river cruise increased by 21% last year, with 210,400 people choosing a

river cruise, up from 174,400 in 2016.

CroisiEurope increases MARCH 2018
capacity on the Rhone

CroisiEurope has announced that it is to increase capacity
from three to four ships on the Rhone next year.

From April 2019, CroisiEurope will operate an additional ship on the Rhone
offering a variety of seven- and eight-day itineraries round trip from Lyon,
including a brand new and exclusive ‘gourmet’ itinerary which will focus on
the region’s food and wine.
