I credit my success to God. I
get creative with my ideas,

am a perfectionist and
usually don't take no for an
answer, mainly when I don't
get the desired effect in an
outfit; I'll do it all over again.

My biggest challenge is
getting the demand met and
combining my business with
motherhood, especially
since my kids are toddlers.
However, my husband is very
supportive and helps, so I'm
coping.

IN GIRLS?
Purely Loved Ministries birthed from a
burden God placed on my heart for us, His The value we seek to instill in women and
daughters, regardless of age or marital girls is that they are loved by God the
status. Our goal is to be a place of healing, Father! They don't have to earn it; it’s
purpose, unity, and community. A place accessible through Jesus Christ! Also, they
where God's desire for us to be in are a gift and appreciate every skill they
community; going through life together, have, personalities, bodies, etc. All of it has
teaching, and learning from each other is a purpose!
our goal. This ministry exists to combat the
lies told that the single woman is nothing if
she's not married with children. The lies
that seasoned women are no longer
needed. All the lies he uses to keep us in
bondage and fear. We are also working to
partner with other businesses & ministries
to build community and build the bridge
between older and younger, married, and
single women. We are not to walk this
journey alone, and we all have something
to offer to each other and this world!

HOW CAN A TEENAGER OVERCOME
TEMPTATIONS AND PRESSURE TO BE
SEXUALLY ACTIVE?

I believe the number one way is fully understanding their worth and value. They often give in to
temptation because they're trying to fill a void or don't know the truth about sex. Sex is a gift
given by God to married couples, male & female. Teaching them to be mindful of what they watch
on TV and social media, the types of music they listen to, and the people they hang around. Also,
they need to understand that there are consequences to sex outside of marriage that is
far-reaching and don't just go away because they've "broken up" with their boyfriend. Lastly,
thinking beyond the moment and understanding their bodies' values and gifts benefit the person
they marry.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ABSTINENCE?

When I teach about sex, the emphasis is mainly on purity more than abstinence. You can still be
abstinent but still have the heart and mind to do other sexual acts that don't involve the act of sex
itself. Walking in purity is what keeps you from crossing the line. When walking in purity, your
mind won't lead you to situations that can alter your life. Walking in purity, not having sex before
marriage keeps you from the emotional stress that comes with being with someone to whom
you're not committed. You open yourself up to the possibility of unplanned pregnancies and
sexually transmitted diseases.

MOTIVATED YOU heart to see women walking in freedom,
TO START THIS wanting to see them healed, loved, and
MINISTRY? whole. When a woman has these things,
she can withstand the storms of life and
walk boldly and courageously in her
purpose!

Shannon Taylor is married to a God-fearing husband with three beautiful kids. Her passion
outside of loving her family is serving and teaching women about the love of God. She
facilitates classes for women and teens on their true royal identity in Christ. In addition, she
co-developed a purity program. Her first book is titled Love, Jesus, Sex: Experiences &
Lessons Learned.
