Lesson 4: Terminal Window Basics – Part 1

The terminal window can be found at the bottom of the MT4 platform window. Here,
you can get an overview of the different features of the several modules such as
trade, account history, news, alerts, mail box, and journal.

You can access any of these by clicking on the relevant tab. If you click the trade
tab, you can see your active and pending orders. The account history tab displays
your closed trades or closed positions.
With the alerts tab, you can set up alerts and signals for specific events - such as
reaching specific prices. The journal tab displays all the activities performed by your
trading platform.
