Skibbereen School - Ireland Skibbereen School is a 2 storey 11,000sqm Community School in Cork Ireland and was one of a series of new schools and colleges in Ireland. One Zone’s scope was to create out a fully coordinated detailed 3D design model based on sketches and mark-ups. The modeling of the building services engineering elements was to a BSRIA Stage 5 level of detail . Yale University Student Accomodation -Connecticut, USA Yale University is a private Ivy League University located in New Haven. One Zone were responsible for providing the coordinated 3D Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Drainage Revit design of this 50,000 m² student residential accommodation. Once the 3D model was approved and clash free, 2D design drawings were taken from the model and utilized for construction by the contractor. The American School in England Science Building TASIS England is dedicated to inspiring within each student the pursuit of knowledge, the love of wisdom, an appreciation for beauty, and the development of strong character. Founded in 1976, TASIS England provides an education experience that promotes, innovation, creativity, global perspectives, and thinking. Students are able to explore and learn beyond the confi nes of the classroom. One Zone were responsible for the production of the 3D coordinated Architectural, Structural and MEPF design of the whole building. EDUCATION
Swindon University Technical College - United Kingdom Swindon University Technical College was a new £10m university campus and joint project between Swindon College, Oxford Brookes University and Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells and offers 600 student places for 14 to 19-year-olds. One Zone were responsible for the modeling and coordination of all MEPF services for Swindon University Technical College. His highness Sheik Dr. Bin Mohammed AlQassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah set the vision for the hospital as a state of the art teaching hospital with eminent clinicians working in a modern environment with high degree of Information and Communications Technology support for clinical practise. This approach also enables the teaching of medical and allied health professionals in an environment which will equip them for a future career in which digital technology will play a major role in supporting clinicians. Sharjah Teaching Hospital will be an international teaching hospital of excellence with human and physical resources. Based on the Clients hospital programme brief, One Zone prepared the concept, scheme and detailed design for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Protection services for this 70,000 m² Teaching Hospital. University of Sharjah Teaching Hospital - UAE Children’s Discovery Centre -Syria The 25,000 m² Discovery Centre is a building designed to teach Syrian children about the world in which they live, as such, the technology used to service the building has been designed into the project. One Zone completed the detailed design of the complete Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection services for this educational building, using 3D modeling of all the plantrooms to ensure coordination.
