TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE The depot includes the rail operations control centre which enables full control of the daily operation of both the Red and Green Lines of Dubai Metro. Operation Control Center The centre provides communication channels with rail commuters in the event of an emergency. One Zone undertook the MEPF design for the control centre and coordinated the services provided by the specialist system wide contractors using 3D Revit and Navisworks. Al Rashid Maintenance Depot This is the main maintenance depot facility for the Dubai Metro. It comprises some 24 buildings and the main Operational Control Centre for the entire metro network. The main depot at Rashidiya has a parking area able to house 64 trains. One Zone undertook the MEPF design for all the buildings and the site infrastructure including electrical distribution, lighting and security. In addition, One Zone carried out the structural design for all site infrastructure works including track slabs, equipment bases, cable tunnels, site roads and compounds.
Red Line Traction Power Building and Cable Risers Traction power is fed to the line via a number of traction power sub-stations located at the end of stations and at intermediate points along the permanent way. HV, LV and other ELVl services are taking up onto the via-duct sections via dedicated combined services cable risers. One Zone undertook the MEPF and Structural design for all the Traction Power buildings and Cable Risers, coordinating with traction power equipment designed by Mitsuibushi Heavy Industries. Palm Deira Fire, Irrigation & Water Pumping Stations-Dubai, UAE One Zone prepared a number of standards designs for both, combined fire and irrigation pumping stations and storm water pumping stations to feed the residential buildings on this reclaimed island. These standards designs were used as a part of the main infrastructure services for the land connection development areas of the Palm Deira reclamation area. Three standards designs were prepared for small, medium, and large capacity flows. One Zone were responsible for all aspects of design including Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection. TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE
KCRC and Nam Cheong Kam Tin Stations- Hong Kong It is located on the relatively new West Kowloon Reclamation The existing West Kowloon Expressway passes through the middle of the station The existing Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRC) Airport Express Railway pass directly overhead. Both Nam Cheong and Kam Tin Stations were constructed ahead of large-scale residential developments that comprise of ten 50 storey towers partly located above each station. This development, together with later phases, now account for a good number of the 130,000 passengers per day. The One Zone team was involved with two stations for the KCRC (Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation) West Rail Line projects the first being Kam Tin Station, and the second being Nam Cheong Station. The commission was to complete the MEPF detailed working drawings for the main contractor together with the design input into the large number of design changes required to incorporate the actual site constraints. 1765 drawings were prepared in Microstation. Nam Cheong Station is the largest station on the West Rail project and was the toughest construction challenge on the project as: Hong Kong Midfield Airport Concourse work The phase 1 Midfield project at Hong Kong International Airport includes the construction of a five-level Midfield Concourse with total floor area of 78,000 sqm and over 35 green features; 20 aircraft parking stands; an Automated People Mover (APM) extending from Terminal 1; a cross-field taxiway; and other supporting facilities. One Zone as part of a tendering contractor, provided coordinated 3D models of the main terminal building structures as well as the full architectural, structural and MEPF model of the main chiller building. Express Rail Link West Kowloon Terminal -Hong Kong This high-speed rail terminal station connects Hong Kong to various major cities in the mainland with the largest rail network in Hong Kong’s history. Located centrally in Hong Kong within the city’s urban realm and equipped with fifteen tracks, the facility will be the largest below ground terminal station in the world. One Zone were responsible for the production of over 2000 IFC drawings for the fire and plumbing & drainage systems. Kwai Tsing Rail Tunnels -Hong Kong The Kwai Tsing Tunnels in Hong Kong form part of the West Rail project constructed by the Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC). Phase 1 comprised of a 27km highspeed connector railway with nine stations along the route. The Kwai Tsing Tunnels link Mei Foo Station in the south to Tsuen Wan Station in the north. The project comprised of approximately 3.6km of tunnels and a ventilation building midway along the route. The first 1.8km of tunnels from the south were constructed as a single bore 14m span twin-track tunnel using drill and blast techniques. The northern 1.8km tunnels were constructed as a twin-bore single-truck tunnel using an earth pressure balance (EPB) tunnel boring machine (TBM). The One Zone team undertook the design of the MEPF systems for both the tunnel and ancillary buildings, including the traction power substations, control centre, fire protection, and tunnel ventilation buildings. Eagle’s Nest Road Tunnel -Hong Kong The Project was completed in 2007 and comprises 2No dual lane road tunnels and Noise Enclosures totaling a distance of 4 km of highway, complete with Toll Booths, Administration Centre, Portal and Ventilation Buildings. One Zone provided the complete coordinated working drawings for the tunnel and the ancillary buildings, preparing fully dimensioned ISD, CSD and SEM drawings for the MEPF contractor. In total over 1,000 Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection drawings were produced in AutoCAD. The construction overlapped the design stage so, working drawings were prepared using a phased programme of deliverables. Each package of drawings had to be completed within two months of receipt of the design drawings from the Engineer. TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE
Gatwick Airport Operation Building - London, UK One Zone were engaged by a prominent Consulting Engineering company in London to complete a full REVIT/BIM model, calculation and schedules for Gatwick Airport Authority’s new Operations building. All design work conducted within the BIM platform was conducted in accordance with the “Your London Airport Gatwick – Building Information Modelling (BIM) Technical Standard”. One Zone were issued model files for the structural and architectural elements and Scheme design information for the MEP systems in 2D. The full BIM model was then constructed and populated with REVIT element families for each system to match the specification of equipment. The specific parameters of each element were then defined and the programme was then used to perform calculation and produce scheduled information that is traditionally completed in separate software. This allows, for example, the electrical design engineer to adjust a circuit from one phase to a different phase and the programme automatically updates the schedule and the layout drawings, integrating the system design and layout drawings works. Circle Line Stage One Mass Rapid Transit -Singapore Circle line stage 1 is a medium rail transit system with a passenger capacity of up to 20,000 passengers per hour. The C825 Stage 1 contract included 4 of the 6 stations, using the ‘top down’ method of construction. Four basements deep for Dhoby Ghaurt, five for Museum, three for Convention Centre and three for Millenia which, also, includes twin stacked platforms. The One Zone team was responsible for the production of all the SEM/CSD drawings. This was achieved by taking full responsibility for leading and coordinating the 7 number system wide contractors. Each station consisted of approximately 120 SEM/CSD drawings all prepared in Microstation TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE
One Zone prepared the concept and detail design drawings and calculations for two shallow stations in the line 4 of Riyadh Metro Project. The Drawing and calculations included a full package of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, builders work, combined services drawings, plant delivery routes, utility connection plans and all other associated design works related to the stations. One Zone attended the site wide discussions with Main Consultant, the Architect, Structural Engineer, and Main Contractor. One Zone were responsible for incorporation of the design review comments from the Owner’s Engineer, Third Party Reviewer and Main Contractor. One Zone delivered the project successfully and was further involved in the variation orders which were required after completion of the design phase. Subsequently, One Zone was involved in the review and approval of all Contractor’s shop drawings during the construction phase of the project.” Riyadh Metro Project – MEPF Design for Shallow Underground Stations 4G1 and 4C2 Doha Metro Project – MEPF Design of tunnels, depots, non-station structures in Red and Gold Lines One Zone were involved in multiple packages of the Doha Metro Project at different levels of design works. One Zone prepared the MEPF design of tunnel sections for the Gold Line, and were also involved in multiple non-station structures in the Red and Gold line, and finally completed the full design of Ras Bu Abboud Depot which comprises a large underground building for storing and maintenance of all metro trains of the Gold Line. One Zone were responsible for leading the MEP design and liaison with Architects / Structures / Main Consultant. One Zone prepared a full set of MEPF drawings at detail design stage, and a full set of MEPF calculations. TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE
Skibbereen School - Ireland Skibbereen School is a 2 storey 11,000sqm Community School in Cork Ireland and was one of a series of new schools and colleges in Ireland. One Zone’s scope was to create out a fully coordinated detailed 3D design model based on sketches and mark-ups. The modeling of the building services engineering elements was to a BSRIA Stage 5 level of detail . Yale University Student Accomodation -Connecticut, USA Yale University is a private Ivy League University located in New Haven. One Zone were responsible for providing the coordinated 3D Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Drainage Revit design of this 50,000 m² student residential accommodation. Once the 3D model was approved and clash free, 2D design drawings were taken from the model and utilized for construction by the contractor. The American School in England Science Building TASIS England is dedicated to inspiring within each student the pursuit of knowledge, the love of wisdom, an appreciation for beauty, and the development of strong character. Founded in 1976, TASIS England provides an education experience that promotes, innovation, creativity, global perspectives, and thinking. Students are able to explore and learn beyond the confi nes of the classroom. One Zone were responsible for the production of the 3D coordinated Architectural, Structural and MEPF design of the whole building. EDUCATION
Swindon University Technical College - United Kingdom Swindon University Technical College was a new £10m university campus and joint project between Swindon College, Oxford Brookes University and Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells and offers 600 student places for 14 to 19-year-olds. One Zone were responsible for the modeling and coordination of all MEPF services for Swindon University Technical College. His highness Sheik Dr. Bin Mohammed AlQassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah set the vision for the hospital as a state of the art teaching hospital with eminent clinicians working in a modern environment with high degree of Information and Communications Technology support for clinical practise. This approach also enables the teaching of medical and allied health professionals in an environment which will equip them for a future career in which digital technology will play a major role in supporting clinicians. Sharjah Teaching Hospital will be an international teaching hospital of excellence with human and physical resources. Based on the Clients hospital programme brief, One Zone prepared the concept, scheme and detailed design for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Protection services for this 70,000 m² Teaching Hospital. University of Sharjah Teaching Hospital - UAE Children’s Discovery Centre -Syria The 25,000 m² Discovery Centre is a building designed to teach Syrian children about the world in which they live, as such, the technology used to service the building has been designed into the project. One Zone completed the detailed design of the complete Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection services for this educational building, using 3D modeling of all the plantrooms to ensure coordination. Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital-United Kingdom The Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital was the first state of the art hospital in England to have emergency care consultants on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One Zone completed the fully coordinated 3D Revit Model of the corridors to ensure full clash free coordination of all specialist services was achieved. One Zone also completed a walkthrough of several of the wards to assist with design team coordination and hospital staff orientation . Perth Childrens Hospital - Australia One Zone undertook the full modelling & coordination for the fire protection services against all other services for the new the $1.2 billion 78,000m3 children’s hospital in Perth, Australia. Fabrication drawings and documentation were then produced for the contractor from the 3D model and all pipework prefabricated drawings were used on site for installation purposes. HEALTHCARE & MISSION CRITICAL
ELJ Project Center - Quezon City, Philippines The ELJ Center is the headquarters of the largest TV network in the Philippines, ABS-CBN. The project was fast track and included numerous studios and technical areas complete with office space fit outs and call center facilities. The Studios now are the largest in Southeast Asia. The building is protected by 10MW of standby power and is served by 5000 tons of chiller capacity. The total floor area of the buildings is 1,020,000 ft². The One Zone team provided the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design and Site Supervision for this high tech building. The Royal London Hospital -UK The 1,000 bed, Royal London Hospital, provides district general hospital services for the City of London and Tower Hamlets and specialist tertiary care services for the patients from across London and beyond. Britain’s biggest new hospital includes London’s leading trauma and emergency care centre, one of the UK’s biggest pedriatric services units, provided within a dedicated Women and Children’s Hospital. One Zone undertook the detailed design of the building services for this hospital; electrical distribution, lighting, power, ancillaries, HVAC, domestic water and medical gas systems. Salinas Memorial Valley Hospital-USA Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital is a part of the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System. The healthcare system is a 269-bed acute care hospital with several distinct specializations and programs. Specialized facilities and programs include the Regional Heart Program, the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Women and Children regional Wound Healing Center and Emergency Department and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). An expanded Emergency Department to accommodate the area’s growing population was undertaken. One Zone were involved in the re-design of the Hospital completing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection services. HEALTHCARE & MISSION CRITICAL
Roseberry Park Mental Health Unit - UK A 365 bed hospital, with a floor area of 26,700 m², which provides a wide range of mental health and learning disability services. Roseberry Park is made up of a number of selfcontained ward units, clustered around closed landscaped courtyards. It has 365 inpatient beds and all the single, en-suite bedrooms are on the ground floor. The facilities are complemented by various activity and recreational areas with ready access to safe and secure courtyards and gardens. One Zone carried out the detailed design of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing and Drainage services for this hospital. Pinderfields Hospital -UK The 600 bed Pinderfields Hospital includes a 24/7 A&E department, radiology, and endoscopy unit, acute inpatient midwife facilities, inpatient and outpatient wards, physiotherapy, theatres and critical care facilities. One Zone carried out the detailed design of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing and Drainage services for this hospital. One Zone were involved in the design of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services for this hospital. The medical complex was designed as a regional medical facility to meet Sacramento's healthcare needs for the next 50 years, and serve the needs of the patients in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo counties’ and patients across 27 counties in northern California and western Nevada. The new Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center, named in honour of the family of the late Fred Anderson, founder of the Pacific Coast Buildings Products, Inc., offers the highest level of neonatal and paediatric intensive care and other services. The remodelled Sutter General and Cancer Center houses new space for orthopaedic, spine, neuroscience, cancer, transplant and medical/surgical services. At the completion of the medical campus in late 2010, Sutter General Hospital was renamed the Ose Adams Medical Pavilion in honour of a generous donation from Sacramento philanthropists Enlow and Melena Adams Ose. Sutter General Hospital - USA HEALTHCARE & MISSION CRITICAL
BECaD Hospital - UK The 200 bed 40,000 m² BECaD–(Brent Emergency Care and Diagnostic Centre is being introduced as a prospective ‘Healing City’ – not just looking after the sick but promoting good health. Park Royal Partnership regeneration agency together with The Arts Council of England, have recognised the vital role that BECaD and the arts will play in the regeneration process of what has been a historically deprived community. One Zone carried out the detailed design of the Electrical services for this hospital to include lighting, power, containment and nurse call system. Queen Alexandra Hospital - UK The Queen Alexandra Hospital site underwent a major redevelopment to create a modern and ‘fit for purpose’ 516 bed hospital. The ‘emergency’ department at Queen Alexandra Hospital is one of the busiest in the UK treating in excess of 100,000 patients each year. The ‘Medical Assessment Unit’ (MAU) and ‘Surgical Assessment Unit’ (SAU) provide rapid diagnostic assessment for patients admitted as emergencies. These can then be directed to the clinical areas most appropriate for their condition. One Zone were involved in the detailed design of the Mechanical services for two major wings of this hospital expansion project, including: heating, chilled water, low temperature hot water and ventilation systems. OFFICE & RETAIL The King Abdulah Financial District- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia The King Abdullah Financial District will house the large community of professionals working within the financial sector and related industries, hosting the head quarters of the Capital Market Authority, the Stock Exchange, banks, financial institutions and other service providers such as accountants, auditors, lawyers, analysts, rating agencies, consultants, and IT providers. The King Abdullah Financial District provides the next generation of development and will ensure the sustained dominance of Saudi Arabia as the largest economy and financial centre within the region. One Zone were responsible for Mechanical & Plumbing, design on a number of building packages as well as fire protection design on all the building packages. We completed the 3D Modelling for full MEPF coordination of major plantrooms & risers for one of the building packages. Edades Tower- Manila, Philippines Edades Tower is located in the Rockwell Center, the flagship project of Rockwell Land Corporation, it sits on a 15.5 hectare site in Makati City, Philippines strategically located between the Makati and Ortigas business districts. It has been developed into a self-contained, mixed-use community consisting of 10 high-rise residential towers, a sports leisure club, office buildings, a lifestyle shopping center and a graduate school of law, business and government. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection, and Vertical Transportation design for this high end 111,000 m² high rise 50 storey residential and serviced apartment mixed-use tower at the Rockwell Center development in Makati, Philippines. One Zone used 3D Revit and Navisworks to ensure coordination of all risers and plantrooms.
The project is the headquarters for the Roscommon County Council. The 9,000 sqm building consists of 3 floors and a basement. One Zone’s scope was to create a fully coordinated 3D design model of all MEPF services, then after completion of the model to create the construction drawings of all services. Roscommon Council Corporate Headquarters- Ireland Al Abdali Tower-Amman, Jordan This is a Norman Foster & Partners design. The development is located at the heart of the IT district of Amman, the capital of Jordan. It is a commercial office development which comprises of a 54 storey tower with gross area of 68,000 m² and two 7 storey towers at 7,000 m² each. It also has 9 levels of basement carparks with an area of 50,000m². One Zone was responsible for the Fire Protection and Plumbing and Drainage design which reduced water consumption substantially by using a computer management system which integrated the following: • Grey Water Recycling • Rain Water Harvesting • AC Condensate Recovery • Water Demand Management • Irrigation Management OFFICE & RETAIL
•Full Energy Audit of the Mall •Cost analysis, payback period and redesign of the complete basement lighting to energy efficent T5 electronic flourescent luminaries. •Cost analysis, payback period and design to separate the Cinema cooling load from the Main Chiller system to a stand alone Chiller, for different occupancy zoning of the Mall. The Power Plant Rockwell Center-Manila, Philppines One Zone completed numerous energy saving sutainable designs for the Power Plant Mall post construction over a 5 year period, these include: •Feasibility report on the use of off peak electricity ice storage system to reduce electricity costs. •Application of grey water recycling. •Utilization of deep well water supply in lieu of utility supply. •Feasibility on enhancement of the control of the fresh air quantity to match the occupancy using a carbon dioxide detection system. OFFICE & RETAIL Deerfields Town Square -Abu Dhabi, UAE Deerfields Town square in Abu Dhabi is a vibrant mixed use development spread over a million square feet, with over 200 plus stores and boutiques. One Zone were resposible for the Structural detailing of this retail development.
60 Threadneedle Street - London, UK 60 Threadneedle Street provides approximately 20,000 m² of commercial space over lower, ground and eight upper floors. 60 Threadneedle Street occupies a prominent site at the juncton of Old Broad Street and Threadneedle Street in the City of London, and is located on the site of the former London Stock Exchange buildings. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design for this prestigious office building. One New Change -London,UK This 32,000 m² 6 storey grade A office building was designed to offer breath-taking views of the historic St. Paul’s Cathedral and the London skyline for corporate tenants. The design offers the flexibility of introducing a 2,000 m² data centre in the lower floor of this building. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design for this prestigious office building St.David’s Shopping Centre 2 -Cardiff, UK St. David’s 2 is a major city centre retail development situated in the heart of Cardiff. St. David’s 1 is a refurbishment programme of an existing shopping centre. Both centres cover around 1.4 millon square feet making the scheme one of the largest in the UK. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage and Fire Protection design. OFFICE & RETAIL
Oxford Science Park -Oxford, UK The Oxford’s Science Park’s flexible approach to building and letting has created an environment capable of growing, developing and adapting to meet the tenant’s everchanging demands. Through innovative and challenging design, the buildings project a confident and robust approach, in tune with the needs of the specialist occupier with style and performance in mind. Affordable quality has enabled The Oxford Science Park to establish itself as a unique business location, providing a stunning range of building styles in a thoughtful environment. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design for these commercial office buildings. Lopez Tower and Museum - Manila, Philippines Lopez Tower and Museum is a 20 storey tower with a total gross area of 56,000 m2 and is going to be an iconic headquarters building for the Lopez group. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection, and Vertical Transportation design for this high end office development and museum. One Zone used Revit and Navisworks to ensure MEPF coordination of the whole building. The design includes a PV solar array of 7SkW on the roof above all the mechanical plant. OFFICE & RETAIL
OFFICE & RETAIL Snowhill Centre - United Kingdom Snowhill development mixed-use scheme offers premium office floor plates, residential housing and public spaces. The development is located in Birmingham’s business district. One Snowhill is a 66m office block providing Grade A rated floorplates over 11 floors - the ground floor is used for retail outlets. Office tenants include KPMG who pre-let 118,403 sq ft and Barclays Bank, who let 98,000 sq ft of floor space. One Zone completed the 3D modelling of the MEPF Plantroom as well as the coordinated office floor layouts Global Village Retail Development -UAE Global Village is Dubai’s most popular outdoor cultural entertainment and shopping venue, welcoming millions of guests over the last 14 years. It’s the place to watch spectacular live performances, taste an array of authentic cuisines, purchase genuine merchandise from around the globe or spend a whole evening on thrilling rides. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design. ELJ Project Center -Quezon City, Philippines The ELJ Center is the headquarters of the largest TV network in the Philippines, ABS-CBN. The project was fast track and included numerous studios and technical areas complete with office space fit outs and call centre facilities. The Studios now are the largest in Southeast Asia. The building is protected by 10MW of standby power and is served by 5000 tons of chiller capacity. The total floor area of the buildings is 1,020,000 ft². The One Zone team provided the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design and Site Supervision for this high tech building.
OFFICE & RETAIL The project goal was the transformation of the Athletic Olympic Stadium in East London to a Football Arena. This required signifi cant design changes to the existing Structure and the MEPF services. The One Zone scope was for the coordination of the re-designed Mechanical & Plumbing services against the Structure and the Electrical services. After the coordination process we produced the construction drawings for the Mechanical & Plumbing - London, United Kingdom Olympic Stadium Transformation - London UK The Landmark, Phase 6 -Hong Kong The Landmark is a prestige office and shopping development owned by Hong Kong Land in Central, Hong Kong. In 2002, Hong Kong Land announced a 1 billion dollar plan - “The Landmark Scheme” - to renovate The Whole Landmark Scheme, this was completed in October 2006. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection fully Coordinated Construction Drawings and Structural Opening Drawings for the 24storey retail and office building.
The $4.6 billion integrated casino resort features a 28- story hotel with 1,706 rooms, suites and villas, meeting facilities, over 106,000 square feet of luxury retail, 13 casual and fine dining restaurants, Macau's largest spa, a salon, a pool and approximately 424,000 square feet of casino space The resort also features a variety of entertainment experiences, including the 8-acre Performance Lake with a gondola around the perimeter. One Zone completed all building services installation drawings and full 3D fully coordinated BIM Model on behalf of the Main contractor, for this 600,000m2 fully integrated luxury casino resort development in Macau. This involved a team of 65 x 3D BIM coordinators, working to a very tight programme, to deliver this very fast track project. Wynn Palace, Macau HOSPITALITY & RESIDENTIAL Hotel D - City of Dreams, Macau One Zone were the overall consultant for the 3D Building Information Modeling Services, directly employed by the developer to ensure all MEPF Services designed by the consultants were fully coordinated with the structural and architectural services. It was the responsibility of One Zone to produce the fully coordinated 3D BIM Model with the responsibility of leading the coordination between all disciplines and highlighting any clashes in the building with a view of resolving these clashes with the design team. The resultant 3D Design BIM Model will be used by the contractors for their construction fully coordinated installation drawings The Venetian Resort Hotel - Macau The $2.4 billion Venetian Macao Resort Hotel brings together 600,000 square feet of gaming space, 3,000 allsuite hotel rooms, 15,000 seat sports arena, retail space for 350 stores, 1.2 million square feet of convention space, parking, mechanical, and office support. The total area adds up to more than 11.5 million sq. ft., making it the second largest building in the world. One Zone were responsible for the Structural pre-stressed detailing design for the podium and hotel building
HOSPITALITY & RESIDENTIAL Proscenium - Manila, Philippines Proscenium is designed by world renowned architect Carlos Ott and is located in the Rockwell Center, the flagship project of Rockwell Land Corporation, it sits on a 20 hectare site in Makati City, strategically located between the Makati and Ortigas business districts. It has been developed into a selfcontained, mixed-use community consisting of 10 high-rise residential towers, a sports leisure club, office buildings, a lifestyle shopping center and a graduate school of law, business and government. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection, and Vertical Transportation design and site supervision for these high end 450,000 m² high rise 5No. 60 storey residential towers and 600 person theatre. One Zone utilised Revit and Navisworks to ensure coordination of all risers and plantrooms. Dukes Village -Huizhou , China The Dukes Village on the outskirts of Huizhou, China consists of 50 No luxury villas and a main recreational club house all in the Italian Renaissance style. The site is made up of 10 hectares surrounding three man made lakes and is located along the Side of Huizhou Tan Zhuen Golf Club. One Zone were responsible for all aspects of the engineering design including Civil, Infrastructure, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection.

One Rockwell East & West Tower -Manila, Philippines One Rockwell East and West Towers is designed by Miami based architectural firm Arquitectonica and is located in the Rockwell Center, the flagship project of Rockwell Land Corporation, its its on a 15.5 hectare site in Makati City, strategically located between the Makati and Ortigas business districts. It has been developed into a self-contained, mixed-use community consisting of 10 high-rise residential towers, a sports leisure club, office buildings, a lifestyle shopping center and a graduate school of law, business and government. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection, and Vertical Transportation design and site supervision for these high end 180,000 m² high rise twin 56 storey residential towers.

One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection, and Vertical Transportation design and site supervision for these high end 130,000 m² high rise 52 storey residential twin towers. ManansalaTower -Manila, Philippines Manansala Tower is located in the Rockwell Center, the flagship project of Rockwell Land Corporation, it sits on a 15.5 hectare site in Makati City, strategically located between the Makati and Ortigas business districts. It has been developed into a self-contained, mixed-use community consisting of 10 high-rise residential towers, a sports and leisure club, office buildings, a lifestyle shopping center and a graduate school of law, business and government. Blue City, Oman Al Madina A’Zarqa (formerly known as Blue City) is a $15 billion megacity project in the Sultanate of Oman. Spread over 32 square kilometers and 16 kilometers of coastline along the coastal region at Al Sawaadi. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design for 41No residential blocks on this development City of Dreams - Manila, Philippines City of Dreams Manila, is a 6.2-hectare (15-acre) luxury integrated resort and casino complex located on the Entertainment City gaming strip at Asean Avenue and Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Opus -Dubai The Opus, designed by Dame Zaha Hadid, holds inside a mixed-use 20 storeys, to savour daily experiences in the unique residencies, exclusive offices, fine dining and hotel. HOSPITALITY & RESIDENTIAL Saint Regis -Cairo, Egypt This new resort in the heart of Cairo is one of the most luxurious in the city, consisting of a large scale, high rise complex located on a prominent site facing the Nile River, opened in 2010. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design for this 220,000 m² 37 storey 5- star hotel and service apartment resort.
HOSPITALITY & RESIDENTIAL Al Raha Beach Development -Abu Dhabi, UAE With a $14.7 billion capital cost, the Al Raha Beach development is one of the most prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi. Comprising eight kilometers of waterfront residential housing spread over seven hectares; the development is currently home to 120,000 people. Consisting of mixed residential, retail, recreational and commercial-use properties, the development includes marinas and canals inspired by Abu Dhabi’s sea-faring culture One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection fully Coordinated Construction Drawings and Structural Opening Drawings for a number of buildings on this development. Oasis Hotel & Expo Hotel -Ras Al-Khaimah Gateway(RAK), UAE Ras Al Khaimah, located at the north end of the coast of the Arabian Gulf, is one of the seven Emirates that form the United Arab Emirates. The Gateway project is a proposed major new mixed-use development, consisting of hotel, retail, exhibition, and congress facilities within an integrated site development. The building will be of a local, regional and global significance. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design.
Great Western Quarter -London, UK The Great Western Quarter in London covers a vast former brownfield site, bordering the Great Western Road. The site comprises residential and commercial spaces to include 800 new homes, piazzas, green open spaces, shops, office, cafes and restaurants, a new hotel, a new centre for entrepreneurs and an art gallery. One Zone were responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage, and Fire Protection design for the residential buildings on this development. HOSPITALITY & RESIDENTIAL Marriot Hotel - New York, USA New York Marriott Marquins is a $39MRenovation Project. At the heart of the extensive renovation is the brand’s reinvented lobby, including two restaurants and lounges where guests can work,socialize, relax, eat and drink. The makeover also encompasses the hotel’s nearly 2,000 guest rooms and a new, high-tech, 29,000-square-foot Broadway Ballroom. One Zone undertook the MEPF coordinated 3D models for four fl oors of this renovation project.
