Our theme this year, “Advancing the Kingdom,” reflects our shared commitment to expanding God’s work in our lives, communities, and the world. THE ORDER FOR THE ORDINATION OF AN ELDER Dearly Beloved, you have just listened to the Word of God and have heard of the dignity and the great importance of this office whereunto you are called. Once again, we exhort you, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you are to be a messenger, watchmen, and steward of the Lord; to teach and to admonish, to feed and provide for the flock of God; to reprove and rebuke when necessary; to seek for the sheep that are gone astray, that they may be brought into the safety of His sheltering fold forever. Always remember how great this charge is, and how precious the treasure being now committed to your care. Remember that the people are His people; the church is His Church, His Body and His Bride. If it shall happen, that by reason of your negligence in word or in deed, the Church or any member thereof is hurt or hindered, you will have committed a great fault and a grievous injustice to your call. Take heed, therefore, and never cease to labor and to care with all diligence, until you have done all that lieth within you, to bring all such as shall be committed to your charge unto perfect stature of the Man, Christ Jesus. Forasmuch, then, as your office is both so great in excellency and you so ladened with difficulty and danger, consider how you ought to forsake by the help of God, all worldly cares, and be studious in learning the Scriptures, and in acquiring such knowledge and skills as may help you to declare the living Word of God. THE CANDIDATE: I will maintain the spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, and be consistent in the reading and studying of the Word of God.

THE CANDIDATE: I will endeavor to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, the Lord being my helper. THE BISHOP: Will you use all diligence to frame and fashion your own life and the life of your family according to the teaching of Jesus Christ? THE CANDIDATE: I will, the Lord being my helper. THE BISHOP: Will you maintain and set forward as much as lieth in you, quietness, peace, and love among all saints, and especially those that are committed to your charge? THE CANDIDATE: I will so do, the Lord being my helper. THE BISHOP: Will you reverently heed them that are over you, and to whom the charge over you is committed, following with a glad mind and with their godly leadership and admonition, submitting yourself to their godly judgments? Rochell is the Senior Pastor of Judah Life Christian Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Dana Rochell, a native of Pompano Beach, Fla., received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the tender age of 15 in the House of God Church, Inc. At the age of 18, she was called and later ordained as Minister. After serving faithfully in this capacity for a number of years Minister Dana Rochell was elevated and ordained to Elder under the leading and guidance of Elder Troy Brown at Greater Anointing Tabernacle, Inc. Dr. Rochell felt it necessary to transfer her membership to Kingdom Building Worship Ministries Inc. under the shepherding of Bishop Otto Hines Sr.. Under the shepherding of the late Apostle Otto Hines Sr. of Kingdom Building Worship Ministries Inc.. Pastor Rochell served as one of the Presbyters, Overseer over the Youth Ministry, Usher Department, Outreach Ministry and Chief Financial Officer. Pastor Dana Rochell received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beulah Heights Bible College. She received her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral/Theological Studies from Morehouse Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). Under the shepherding of the late Apostle Otto Hines Sr. of Kingdom Building Worship Ministries Inc., Dr. Dana Rochell served as one of the Presbyters, Overseer of the Youth Ministry, Usher Department, Outreach Ministry and Chief Financial Officer. Currently Dr. Rochell is under the mentoring/leadership tutelage of Bishop Roan and Overseer Esther Faulkner of Faith Christian Center International and Bishop Roy and Janice Tucker at Praising Place Church of God where she is currently serving. Dr. Rochell believes that we are the “Remnants at War”. She confidently affirms Matthew 11:12, “In the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force”. Dr. Rochell is married to Deacon Keith Rochell for over 20 years and through this union they have three children: Amir, Nailah, and Ethan Rochell.
