Superintendent HENRY B. HUNT “God’s Only Prerequisite is for His People to Live Holy” - Leviticus 11:44 “For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” It is with profound joy that I greet you in the matchless name of Jesus. I am so grateful unto the Lord Jesus which has allowed me to serve as the District Superintendent for approximately 25 years or more, the opportunity to work in the vineyard in serving the Lord’s people. It is a most humbling privilege and honor. Our Theme for the year is “God’s Only Prerequisite is for His People to Live Holy” derived from Leviticus 11:44. It is so glaring to witness the continual rapid decay of human society. 2 Timothy 3:2-5 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. This is the day in which we as saints of God must be aggressive and persistent in declaring the name of Jesus Christ. We must be adamant in demonstrating the power of the Holy Ghost in a renewed character and life style. The world needs to see us living a sanctified life according to the word of God (2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are past away; behold, all things are become new. It is not enough for us to quote the scriptures we have been called to live the life. Mother Hunt and I are at the wonderful threshold of celebrating fifty years of knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and fifty years of marriage. Holiness is right and shall always be the supreme commandment of God. For he resolutely have stated “Be thou Holy for I am Holy”. From the profundity of our hearts, Superintendent Henry B. Don’t be anxious about anything, but pray about everything (Philippians 4:6) “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Now Saints and friends, I ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience, therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy.
