Preface This handbook has been created as a guideline for operations in the restaurant. Its purpose is to ensure that employees and interns perform their duties accurately and to minimize errors. The author hopes dearly that this handbook will assist employees and interns in performing their duties accurately and efficiently. If there are any errors, we apologize sincerely for them here. It is a restaurant near Phuket Old Town. The restaurant has its own small hydroponic salad farm at the rear. The restaurant is open for service from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Rules 1. Employees are not allowed to leave the workplace without permission from their supervisor. If it is necessary to leave the premises, a written request for permission must be submitted each time, and permission will only be granted for work-related matters. 2. Employees who do not wear the designated work uniform are strictly prohibited from entering the work premises. Otherwise, the supervisor will issue a written warning accordingly. 3. Employees who are not associated with the work are strictly prohibited from entering the workplace of the store they are not affiliated with unless they are assigned to assist with specific tasks. 4. Employees are prohibited from bringing individuals not associated with the work into the workplace of the store without exception. In case of necessity, permission must be obtained from the supervisor.
5. Dressing must be neat and in accordance with the company regulations, from head to toe. If any employee's attire is not neat, the responsible supervisor will issue a written warning accordingly. 6. Taking leave for ceremonies, annual leave, and personal leave must be notified at least 3 days in advance, along with the necessary documentation, to the human resources department. (If a leave request is submitted retrospectively, it will be considered as an absence from work.) 7. Unplanned leave without prior written notice is allowed only in two cases: 1. Emergency leave (without pay and subject to the deduction of special monthly wages according to the deduction rules), with approval from the supervisor. 2. Sick leave, with or without a medical certificate (subject to the deduction of special wages according to the deduction rules)
8. Failure to inform the supervisor of leave will be considered an absence from work and will result in a written warning for the first occurrence of absenteeism exceeding 3 days. In the event of repeated absences, termination of employment will be immediate. 9. All employees must show respect to all supervisors and follow their orders that are fair and reasonable. If any employee violates or does not comply, the penalty will be a written warning. 10. Employees are strictly prohibited from bringing any type of alcoholic beverages into the workplace for consumption. Any employee who violates this rule will face immediate termination of employment. 11. Employees are prohibited from bringing companyprepared food and beverages intended for sale to customers for personal consumption. The exception is food prepared specifically for employee meals.
12. Employees are not allowed to use the telephone while on duty. If any supervisor observes such behavior, they will confiscate the telephone immediately and return it after working hours. Additionally, a written warning will be issued. 13. Employees are expected to arrive at work 15-20 minutes before the start of the work shift to prepare and be ready for duty, ensuring timely service to customers.
