the Horse

Once, there was a
mama horse and her
baby named Moon.

But one day,
Mama horse
got put up for
sale.

day.

Two months later, Moon learned to accept what
has happened. She started playing with her

friends again. Even though she was happy once
again, she never forgot about her mom.

Everyone experiences grief at some point in their life, and it is totally
normal. The story of Moon and her Mom represents the five stages of grief,
and how Moon deals with them. This book was written so young kids are able

to understand the 5 stages of grief and what it is.
