Since Movement Control Order (MCO), lots of people use the internet for business purposes, online learning, finding information and connecting with people around the world. Some people who live in rural areas do not get a good internet signal. They have to climb up the trees and went to the higher places just to get a good signal. This can be dangerous and might cause accidents if they do not be careful while climbing up the tree. Our project idea will make it more accessible for them to get a good internet signal. Subsequently ease their learning process. The issue will be addressed by the project using a satellite dish on the top of the lifter. The dish will rotate around to detect a signal from the telecommunication transmitter and automatically make any device with a certain distance will get a better internet connection. This project is very efficient, safe and environmentally friendly. It is suitable to put the project idea in a place where has a possibility not to have a fast and strong internet connection. Our project idea is to help people get a better internet connection. We came up with this idea when we heard the news about some students who live in rural areas at Sabah needing to climb and sleep on a tree to get a better signal for their online learning during Movement Control Order (MCO). We search for helpful information and ideas for our project to help them. We combine them to make a better project to make their life easier with a better internet connection. This project is different because we don ’t build a telecommunication transmitter near rural areas, but we replace it with our more efficient, safer and environmentally friendly project. We use an app named EV3 mindstorms to activate the project and automatically set the project coding on your device. Our project idea has a lifter that will become longer and the satellite dish on top will rotate around to detect the signal from the telecommunication transmitter. Any device with a certain distance will get a strong and better internet connection. 5 About The Project

This project idea could bring a significant improvement to our society. It will help many peoples who live in rural areas and places where has a possibility of not getting a good signal. They need to get a better and fast internet connection to ensure their daily routine that uses the internet like business, online learning, finding information and connecting with people around the world flow smoothly. This project dramatically benefits students involved in e-learning and workers who work using devices that need the internet. However in certain situation such during strong wind, this model can be broken which requires cost for repair and maintenance. SOCIAL IMPACT 10
