Meet Eko Priharseno and Ichiro, who arrived in
Bandung this morning. Eko is a Jakarta based interior
designer, with good eyes to recognize patterns and
lines complemented with visionary minds to decide
which patterns and lines have to go into his designs.
Meanwhile Ichiro is his ride (or should we say his
travelling buddy).

As a designer whose designs were featured by Design
Anthology and a member of ID12 (a group of renowned
12 Indonesian designers) picking the right ride is not as
simple as we might think. The design, the lines, and the
p u r p o s e have to h ave m e anings, and t hat ’s w hy Ichiro is
perfect for him.



It ’s t he kind of relat ionship t ha t a ny
petrolheads are longing for. The
indescribable symbiosis between the
owner and the car, and we are here
at LOS tries to capture that
relationship via the Lair of Stories.

His love of travelling brought him to
Ichiro, a Suzuki Jimny Wide. His love
of Japan culture and his love of
aesthetically pleasing items also
fulfilled by Ichiro. The Ichiro might
be brand new, but Eko and Ichiro are
ready to be inseparable travelling
buddies for life. The name itself,
Ichiro, means “anak laki-laki
pertama” in Bahasa, or the first son
in English. That shows how much Eko
loves Ichiro. While Ichiro pays him
back with its ability to travel far with
almost no boundaries, taking Eko to
beautiful and inspirational
destinations.
