Dear Friends in Christ,

God has promised us in Christ to re-create the present world into God’s
Kingdom. God’s intent is to make all things new. Although the goal of God’s
action is to eliminate every evil and determent to human life, this will not be
completely achieved until the last day when Jesus returns in glory. Until
that time, we can see traces of God’s actions in the positive developments
in our society and culture.
This year our Annual Report on Parish Life is utilizing internet, which is one
of the most significant developments of our time. For the first time the
report will not be printed, but rather appear on our website. This change will
not only save our parish significant printing and mailing costs, but also keep
the information in the report available to you throughout the entire year.
Please review the report on the following pages to learn of our parish’s
sacramental celebrations and ministries, as well as our financial status for
the period July 2015 to June 2016. The blessings included in this report are
another reason we as a faith community should give thanks to God.

Dear Parishioner,  

On the following pages you will find the Parish Financial Report for July 2015 to June 2016. 

It has been a positive year. As you can see the matching collection for the roof raised 
$35,461.00 and greatly helped the total cash receipts. The Banquet Center had a year that 
reflected a significant improvement over recent prior years generating $139,417.00 in cash 
earnings before capital improvements. 

Although you may note that the 2017 budget includes a negative cash flow of $10,000, this is 
due to the fact that the 2016 positive cash flow amount of $119,068 will be used to pay for 
major capital expenditures in the coming year. 

You will also notice that we have created a few new categories to more clearly express the use 
of our funds. The “Designated Collection” line, under receipts, contains the money we raised 
for collections required by the Diocese. The disbursement of these funds is expressed in 
“Designated Collections” under expenses.  A “Social Justice” income line shows that our 
parishioners contributed $34,585.00 to maintain the food pantry and assist parishioners with 
emergency needs through our monthly collections and direct donations to the fund.  I 
commend all who contributed for their generosity. Another new line under expenses is 
“Celebrating”, which captures the cost to celebrate our community life through events such as 
coffee and doughnuts and our parish spaghetti dinner.  

I would like to thank our Endowment Fund for their contribution of $12,000.00 for the last fiscal 
year that covered the cost of several months of coffee and doughnuts, The Good Gifts Garden, 
our effort with CEPROSI, and our Parish Spaghetti Dinner.  

Thanks to all the Parishioners whose generosity keeps our parish active, and growing, striving to 
carry out the message of Jesus.
