Dear Friends in Christ,
Jesus sends us out to announce the Good News of God’s
love to the world. As a parish community we pray, learn,
and serve under this great commission. This yearly report
captures some of the events and ministries which give life to
our parish.
Please review the following report to learn of our parish’s
sacramental celebrations and ministries, as well as our
financial status for the period July 2016 to June 2017. The
blessings included in this report are another reason we as a
faith community should give thanks to God.

Dear Parishioner,
Allow me to note a number of facets which are part of the annual
Financial report. It has been a positive year. Our collections have
been holding steady. Last year we invested $200,000.00 from our
savings into the Diocesan Investment Program. The return of
$73,535.00 was extremely helpful to our total cash receipts.
The Banquet Center also had a successful year, earning us
$106,532.00 before capital improvements. In terms of expenses you
will note that we budgeted $ 100,000.00 in capital improvements
for the present fiscal year. This large expense includes further
repairs to our parking lot and the replacement of the electrical
panel and altar lighting in our church. The Banquet Center plans to
refurbish its wall treatment and make other improvements which
are overdue ($79,000.00). Fortunately, because of your generosity,
we have the means to cover these unusually high expenses.
You will note that our Parish Endowment has assisted programing
with a gift of $13,500.00 last fiscal year and plans to contribute
$17,000.00 in our present year. Please continue to support the
Endowment.
One last note. Last year we received $45,000.00 which was our
portion of your gifts to the Rooted in Faith Campaign. In the next
few years the pledges made by our parishioner will be paid and
those funds will no longer come to us. Our Finance Committee is
exploring ways to absorb that loss in our upcoming budgets.
I am confident, with your help, we will be able to continue
maintaining our buildings, offering excellent parish programs and
assisting those who are in need. Thank you for your generosity.
