Michael Armati Director | BLA Michael has been involved in the play industry for over 30 years, with project experience throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Initially with a role with KOMPAN, Michael went on to own and run Playtec Pty Lty and Boing International Pty Ltd in UK. Returning to Australia, Michael managed Forpark NSW before seizing the opportunity to work with KOMPAN again, a company and product he has always respected and admired for it’s design and quality. Michael is the owner and director of Play By Design Pty Ltd. Peter Mathiesen Senior landscape architect | BLA Peter has over 20 years industry experience, working in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and abroad. He is skilled in all aspects and landscape architecture, from concept design to site supervision. Peter is passionate about play and how children and adults use playground, and the positive experiences and development opportunities they can offer. Farrell Brocklebank Business development manager | BSocSc Farrell has 13 years experience in sales, marketing and project management, with various roles in Europe and Australia. She has worked in the play industry since 2017. Farrell is dedicated to providing innovative and successful play solutions and is enthusiastic about transforming play and recreation spaces to bring communities together. Brigid Carson Senior landscape architect | BLA (Hons) Brigid can proactively problem solve, collaborate and have a true understanding of the client’s need that lie at the core of a succeessful project. Lucinda Varley Partner | BLA (Hons) Lucinda is a partner in the business and has over 30 years of heritage and landscape architectural experience in the local government and private sectors. Michael Higgins Project manager Michael joined Play By Design 10 years ago, bringing over 18 years experience in local government, property development and commercial construction. Michael is responsible for coordinating the installation and construction of Play By Design’s projects.
