Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity continues to be one of the mostmeaningful hands-on learning opportunities for the men in our program. This year, participants have already contributed to four home builds — April 30, October 1,October 28, and November 19 — with each build offering a new skill-buildingexperience. From siding installation on the first two homes to framing on the mostrecent project, our men are gaining practical exposure that simply can’t be replicatedin a classroom.Working on a Habitat job site gives our men the chance to step into the real world ofconstruction: experiencing the weather, using tools, collaborating with crews, andseeing firsthand how structures come together from the ground up. Unlike acontrolled classroom environment, these builds place them in the element — offeringa credible and powerful introduction to what daily life is like in the trades. We’re proud of the work our men have put in and grateful for the partnerships thatmake these experiences possible. Each build not only helps create safe and affordablehousing for local families — it also helps build confidence, capability, and careerreadiness in our participants.FOLLOW US ON SOCIALS!@FFC_Indiana @FFC_Indiana@FathersandFamiliesCenter @FathersandFamiliesCenter @FathersandFamiliesCenterWANT TO STAY CONNECTED WITH OUR WORK?SUBSCRIBE FOR UPDATES BY CONTACTING DREW JONES AT [email protected] OR 317-671-7943December 2025
