Greenway Forest

I decided to ditch school and go on a
hike to a place called Greenway
Forest. It looked peaceful and calming.
It was very beautiful. There were a lot
of trees, green flowers, everything
looked limish green.

When I walked deep into the forest
there was no sound it went silent only
crows, dead trees, and plants it was a
little terrifying but nothing bad was
happening. So I decided to walk
deeper in the woods everything looked
so dark I could barely see I pulled out
my flashlight.
I looked around I felt like if I was lost

because it didn’t look like Greenway

Forest anymore.

I explored more until I found a
house. it looked very eerie. The lights
were on and I decided to go in nobody
was there. I looked around until the
door shut in front of my eyes and it
was locked I got so spooked out that I
almost passed out. I decided to keep
looking around since I was locked in I
didn't want to go in any room because
I felt like I was going to get locked in
again.

There was a strange glow in one of the
bedrooms I tried ignoring it but for some
reason, I just kept passing the room back
and forth until I finally had the courage to
go in there was a strange emerald ring
glowing and it was floating and it was like
if it was telling me to put it on. So I went
towards the ring I grabbed it and put it on
my finger.

There was a giant green portal
sucking me. I was screaming for
help, but of course, no one would
be able to hear me so I said in my
head“ goodbye world It was nice
knowing you”and I passed out the
second I was in the portal.

Hours passed and I woke up and I was back
in Greenway Forest. I thought it was all a
nightmare until I looked at my finger and the
ring that I put on was still there until I saw
that the glow on the ring was fading away
till it was gone. “it looks like It wasn't a
nightmare” I said to myself. I saw that the
sun was setting so I decided to go home.

I saw it was just a bush but I saw it
moving. I didn’t want to see because It was
night and there might be a dangerous animal
inside so I walked away but the I felt like
the ring was pulling me towards it I looked
and saw it was Little Sweetness! I thought
she was dead but she was alive she wasn’t
talking or moving I thought she was dead but
wasn’t she spoke to me and said.

She was Little Sweetness twin sister they
had the same names and looked exactly
like one another she told me that her sister
Little Sweetness died because her foot got
stuck on a rock underwater and she
couldn't break it in time and she drowned
to death we found her in the water hours
ago we put her in a grave. Then she, “said
goodbye.”

She didn’t want to go to Mrs. Sumps and
tell her the bad news she would just tell me
to work for her so we never told her what
happened to Little Sweetness.” I now knew
why there were graves. I asked her what
were the other graves for. She told me that
Mrs. Sump murdered her whole family and
she made a grave for her whole family all by
herself that’s why there were so many.

I felt sorry for all her loss. She lived by
herself the house that I was in was her
home. She told me that she saw that I was in
her house and that’s why she locked the
door when she saw the ring that I took
and apologized for taking it she said, that I
could keep it for not trying to steal on
purpose.

Then she led me back to
Greenway Forest the place that I
remembered in the beginning. I
thanked her and went back home. I
did get grounded for 3 months. I
looked at the ring and thought when
I would go and visit Greenway
Forest again.
