There was one day Wendy's father or Mr. Burrell had to go into the forest to hunt dangerous animals. So her father doesn't let Wendy go into the forest. Chapter 1 Wendy ONCE upon a time, there was a girl named 'Wendy' who lived with her parents in a home near Spooksville Forest. She has loved adventure and to follow his father into the forest since childhood. Therefore, she is not afraid of going into the forest or wild animals at all. “Wendy, you can't go with me this time because it's too dangerous.” said Mr. Burrell. Wendy replied, “But the last time was dangerous but I don't have any pain. but It’s okay, I won’t go." Mrs. Burrell spoke up. "You're not going to sneak into the forest like last time, are you?" Wendy smiled and nodded in response. 1
Wendy told Wilson the story that she was forbidden from going hunting with her father but will she listen?. So, she invited Wilson to sneak into the woods. Chapter 1 After Wendy finished talking with her parents. She rode her bicycle to meet her best friend at the playground. His name was ''Wilson''. Their parents were close, so they had been close since childhood. They often come to play at the playground and both of them also like adventures. Unfortunately, Wilson was unable to go because he had to visit his grandfather in the hospital. He had to visit his grandfather in the hospital and take care of his grandfather for a week. Wilson said, ‘‘this time I really can't go with you, I have to visit my grandfather in the hospital and take care of his grandfather for a week.'' Wendy looks sad ''But every time we always go together but I understand, I can go alone.'' Wilson replied, ''I won't miss it next time, this time I was really busy.'' 2
Chapter 1 At the same time, Wendy's parents were preparing things to go into the forest. Wendy then said goodbye to Wilson and hurried home to prepare to enter the forest as well. After Father went into the forest for a while, Mother went into the kitchen to wash the dishes. Wendy secretly watched her mother from the stairs and waited for her unexpected moment. She quickly ran out of the house and into the forest. 3
After that, she walked and saw a beautiful waterfall. She never knew that there would be such a beautiful waterfall in this forest, so she took this opportunity to swim in the cool water. She took off her shoes and placed her bag on the nearby rocks. Then she jumped into the water and swam around. There are a lot of fish in the water. It swam around on Wendy's leg. Wendy was very happy and she thought she would have to bring Wilson next time. Chapter 2 Tree House Wendy followed her father into the forest, but she couldn't follow her father in time. So she decided to go hiking alone. And then she walked deeper into an unfamiliar direction in case she could be Wilson's guide next time. 4 After she had been swimming. She felt hungry but she didn't carry anything to eat in her bag. There was only a small knife in her bag for self-protection. Hurriedly, she went to look for fruit that was similar to when she used to go into the forest with her father.
She kept walking until she saw a hare. It was startled and ran away into a hollow of a tree. She hurriedly duck after it into the hollow of a tree. Then she saw a group of cute grey hare jumping around. The hares came to play with Wendy. Wendy suddenly realised that there were bananas in her bag, so she peeled a banana and gave it to the rabbit to eat. Chapter 2 She walked for about 10 minutes. She found a banana tree ready to eat. She used a knife to cut 1 hand of bananas. She put the banana in her bag and peeled 2 bananas to eat. Then she went on to find other fruit. 5 With Wendy's innocence, she introduced herself "Hi everyone. My name is Wendy Burrell. I'm 9 years old. Nice to meet you" and told the rabbit “Here, I brought the bananas myself with this knife.” Then Wendy took out the knife to show and continued, “I got this knife for my birthday last year. My father is the one who made it. And I was the one who painted and decorated it . it's so cute, isn't it?” The rabbit nodded as if they understood what Wendy was saying. When the rabbit ate all the bananas, Wendy said goodbye to the rabbits and thanked her for making Wendy enjoy this trip into the forest.
The environment in the house looked like there was no one there to take care of and clean it. Wendy was relieved that there was definitely no one there, so she looked around the house until she came across a diary with a very beautiful cover that caught her eye. But when she looked out the window, she saw that the sun was about to go down. So she quickly put the diary into her bag and hurried home in time for dinner. Chapter 2 After that, she thought that she would explore the forest a little longer and would go home because it was almost cold. If she hiked alone in the dark, there was a hope of getting lost in the forest. 6 Wendy kept walking. Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of a tree house on the way home. It looked like a story book. The condition of this tree house looked quite old. There were vines all over the house. But it didn’t look scary and she thought it would be a pity if she didn't go in. Wendy hurriedly climbed up and opened the door to see inside.
Chapter 3 The Diary Wendy took longer than usual to get out of the forest because she was confused about the way home, and this was the first time she had to return this way. But in the end, she returned just in time for dinner. As soon as she entered the house, she hurriedly hid the bag and acted normally, like you just came back from the playground. But it's like my mother is suspicious. 7
7 Wendy got shiver down her back but she tried to control her expression as best she could and said, ''Well, it's because of Wilson. He wouldn't let me go home and invited me to continue playing. By the way, what did you cook today? I'm so hungry.'' She tried to change the subject. Mom still didn't believe what Wendy said. But she didn't ask any further questions and said, ‘‘So hurry to take a shower and come to have dinner together. Today, I cooked your favourite menu.'' Wendy immediately smiled widely and said, ‘‘That's curry for sure. I love you very much.’’ Chapter 3 The Diary I Mother then asked, ''Where did you go, Wendy?'' Wendy tried to act as normal as possible. and replied, ''I played with wilson at playground'' Mother looked suspicious, ''But today you came back home a little late.''
Wendy didn't pay any attention to what her father was telling her because the thing that caught her attention the most right now was the diary. So she hurriedly ate her meal and went into her room as quickly as possible so she could open and read that diary quickly. It was around 10 p.m. She hurried onto the bed and immediately opened the diary to read. The cover of this diary is decorated (with three star stickers). There was a drawing of a forest with jagged lines and strange shapes that I couldn't figure out what it was. There were also animals that she had never seen before.) She turned the diary over and looked at the back. The back of the book was just a brown page. Chapter 3 She had dinner with her family and talked about her father who went into the forest to hunt. Mr. Burrell complained at length because he couldn't find any wild animals he wanted to hunt. So he planned to go into the forest again in the next two days. 8
The diary began with a description of the diary owner's daily routine and continued with her adventures in the forest. Wendy had fun reading this diary because it was something that she was interested in. After reading for a while, she felt sleepy because today she was tired all day and now it was time for her to go to bed. So she put the diary face down on the nightstand. Suddenly, a folded piece of paper fell from the diary. Wendy picked it up and spread it out to look at it. It was a map. Wendy was very excited because there was on the map a treehouse that she went to. She thought that she would sneak into the forest again and follow this map. She put the map in her diary and went to bed. Chapter 3 Wendy opened the first page of the diary. There were many letters that the owner of the diary had written. The owner of this diary must be a person with good taste and order, as the letters she wrote were as neat and beautiful as those printed on a typewriter. 9
