First Session
1. Are you Usain Bolt?
This activity focuses on the first learning outcome
All students will answer quizzes related to the topics that have
been taught and shared in Quizalize. It also has different kinds of
questions, such as objective and subjective testing, that
correspond with the topic. This quiz is set up like a running track,
with students moving ahead if they answer the question correctly,
and whoever crosses the finish line first wins.
Objectives:-
- To test students ’level of understanding after learning this
topic
- To make learning is fun and stress reliever
Tasks (Welcome to Carnival)
2. I can see your answer!
This activity focuses on the second and third learning outcome
Each group must create an objective and subjective question
based on a song that will be provided, and each group must
follow the guidelines and tips outlined in the infographic when
creating their question. The completed questions should be
inserted into the slides provided. We will also instruct some
groups to create questions that do not follow the guidelines and
tips.
Objectives:-
- To have discussion and experience by making
teacher-made test with guidelines and tips given
- To apply knowledge in making teacher-made test even in
the unique ways
3. Social Outlet
This activity focuses on the sixth and seventh learning outcomes
Each group will answer 5 questions based on 5 social platforms
which are Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Teachers will provide videos or photos from these 5 social
platforms, and provide questions related to those videos or
photos.
Objectives:-
- To apply knowledge that had been learned in unique ways
- To boost their critical thinking
(Submission 2 tasks: 24th May, Monday, before 2.00 pm)
Second session
4. The Greatest Showman
This activity focuses on fourth and fifth learning outcomes
Each group will do a short presentation by explaining the
questions they created in slides provided (explain the methods in
making that question). Each group should send a representative
and each group should not be present for more than 2 minutes.
After that, the students need to identify whether that question is
well constructed or not (based on guidelines and tips given).
Objectives:-
- To measure students ’level of understanding in making
objective and subjective tests
- To master students in identifying the errors in questions
5. The Money Heist
This activity focuses on the sixth and seventh learning outcomes
This activity uses a flactile platform and it is a HOTs group
activity. 9 groups will be divided into 3 breakout rooms. This
activity has a board that contains 3 categories and 5 levels of
difficulty based on the amount of money, the higher the amount
of money, the more difficult the question. Each group will choose
a category and an amount of money they want in turn and must
answer the question given according to the choice. If correct, the
money belongs to the group, if wrong, the money will be
deducted from the original amount of money of the group. The
activity has 3 rounds and the group with the highest amount of
money will win.
Objectives:-
- To measure students ’level of understanding in alternative
assessment and grading systems.
- To boost their critical thinking when answering the
questions
- To apply the knowledge that they have learned from the
lesson.
