Once upon a time, there is one
beautiful and pretty princess.
She known as Puteri Gunung
Ledang. She lives at the peak

of Ledang Mount.

One day, the king of the
states fall in love with her
beauty. He want to propose

to her.

The king send a team
to be the messenger to
propose the princess.

At the mount peak, the
messenger found the
princess's guardian. The
guardian named Nenek
Kebayan. She asks the
messenger to wait there.

After a few minutes, Nenek
Kebayan said the princess
send her regard to the king.
She said if the king want to
propose she need seven

types of gifts.

The gifts are a golden bridge
connecting Mount Ledang to the
Malacca Sultan’s Palace, a silver
bridge for her to walk back to Mount
Ledang, 7 trays of mosquitoes’ heart,

and 7 trays of germs’ heart.

She also ask for 7 jars of
virgins’ tear as her bathing
water, 7 bowls of young betel
nut juice and 1 bowl of His
Majesty’s son, Raja Ahmad’s

blood.

The messenger return the palace and tell the king. The king able to fulfill all the task
but he did not dare to kill her own son to fulfill the sevent task.

He asks his people to do the tasks.

When he want to kill his prince, the princess appeared
and said "Stop. Don't you ever dare to that to your own

prince,".

The king has became selfish to fulfill the task like
forced his people to help him and kill his prince.
The princess stated that tasks were her excuses to

refuse the proposal.
The king regret his misdeeds
and shamed of himself. Other
people said the princess was
still loyal to her late husband
and she will never marry to
anyone.

Moral of the story

We need to no be a selfish person just to our own desire.
We also regret to our misdeed to become a better person.
