Meaning

Ischaemic heart disease

Is a disease that occurs due to narrowing or blocking of the coronary arteries. This
causes the heart muscle to have less or no blood supply. As a result, the work of the
heart muscle is impaired. If severe, it can cause myocardial infarction. The coronary
arteries are narrowed or blocked. Most of them are caused by hardening of the
arteries. Because fat accumulates in the inner wall of blood vessels. As a result, the
path through which the blood flows is narrowed. Inconvenient bleeding. The heart
muscle therefore receives less blood than normal. It can also be caused by platelets
and blood clots.

Ischemic heart disease risk factors

1. High blood pressure

A condition in which there is a change in the pressure in the blood vessels that is elevated At
present, doctors diagnose that in normal conditions, people with pressure equal to or greater than
140/90 mm Hg. are people with high blood pressure If left at this level for a long time May cause
various organs in the body to deteriorate.

2. Smoke

Smoking is the act of burning a substance until it produces smoke through breathing. to taste and
be absorbed into the bloodstream.

3. Stressed

A state of emotion, feeling, being oppressed or pressured, in which each individual has a way of
adjusting to get through.

4. Not exercising

Lack of exercise will cause physical deterioration.

5. Diabetes

Diseases in which the sugar level in the body is abnormally high.

6. Hyperlipidemia

Hypercholesterolemia is a condition in which the body has an excess amount of cholesterol in the
blood. The normal cholesterol level should not exceed 200 milligrams per 100 milliliters of blood.

7. Belly fat

Caused by the body getting a lot of fat nutrients into the body, until the body is unable to burn all of
them each day. As a result, there is excess fat around the abdomen.

Symptoms of ischemic heart disease

The main symptom of ischemic heart disease is chest pain. especially during
exertion Rest and feel better with a tight and uncomfortable feeling in the
middle of the chest. or rather to the left, deep pain, difficulty breathing There
may be other symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, sweating, heart palpitations,
and fainting. In some cases, in addition to chest tightness. It may also radiate to
the shoulder, arm, or neck.

Beware of blood

1. Dizziness

3. Sweating
4. Vomiting
5. Tight pain in the chest or slightly to the left

Treatment will depend on the type of ischemic heart disease
found.

1. Drug use
- aspirin

- Antiplatelet drugs
- Pain relievers
- Nitroglycerin
- Beta blockers
- ACE inhibitors

2. Surgery
- Balloon dilation and stent dilation
-coronary artery bypass surgery

1. Consume low-fat and high-fiber foods.
2. Make your mind clear, not stressed, get enough sleep.
3. Control the sugar level to be within the normal range.
4. Control blood pressure to a normal level.
5. Exercise regularly.
6. Control your weight to be within the normal range.
7. No Smoking.
8. Make sure to have an annual health check every 1 year.
