Shelf life of the light source: 10 years.

New Optical Bench
The innovative optical detection system is
covered by two pending patents.
This technology is based on a unique and
innovative concept of an active sample flow
and a passive sheath.

New Flow Cell
The sample flow is introduced in the flow
cell under pressure and the sheath is only
dedicated to maintain it.
This principle enables to introduce a large
volume of sample and to use a high dilution
ratio, in order to perform the haemoglobin
measurement with the same dilution.

Principle of Measurement
LIGHT INTENSITY
WBC CELL
OPTICAL DETECTION ZONE TIME
SAMPLE FLOW
Two measurements are performed for each
cell crossing the interrogation zone:
A measurement of Light Scattered in the
forward direction (FSC: Forward Side
Scatter).
A measurement of Light Losses (ALL:
Axial Light Losses).
The use of a low wavelength light source
enhances the scattering efficiency thus
revealing finer cell structures.

A new Lysing solution, OnlyOne.
The five part diff is obtained by the optical
scattergram analysis after action of OnlyOne,
the new Orphée’s lysing solution (pending
patent).
This reagent destroys the RBC and their
stromas, composes the oxy haemoglobin
chromogen and protects the white blood cell
membrane to keep it in closed native state.

A new Lysing solution, OnlyOne.
The combination of the lysing action and
the specific optical setup allows:
To move the neutrophils to the right part
of the scattergram and the basophils can
be identified above and between the
lymphocytes and monocytes.
To shift to the left the eosinophils to
ensure a large gap between them and the
neutrophils thus rugged boundary
detection.

A new Lysing solution, OnlyOne.
This innovative technique avoids the use of
a specific dye or channel measurement for
the eosinophils detection and a specific
channel measurement for the basophils.
