Uvod

lični i profesionalni razvoj čine jednu celinu. Pticu sa dva jaka krila, čoveka
sa dve jake noge, ruke, oka, uva... i nema kraja tom razvoju i stalnom učenju,
dok god traje vaš radni vek. Mi, ili napredujemo ili nazadujemo. ako stalno
učimo, mi napredujemo a ako ne učimo mi nazadujemo. Kao veslač uzvodno,
onog momenta kada prestane da vesla, počinje da ide nazad, jer vreme ne
stoji. on nazad a ostali napred.

Predgovor

Mnogo volim da čitam. čitam sve što mi dođe do ruku, a najviše stručne
knjige i časopise. Volim da čitam i knjige iz oblasti duhovnosti koje mi
pomažu da upoznam sebe od iznutra, a na taj način i druge ljude, jer smo svi
isti. duhovnost je nedeljiva, bez obzira da li se radi o starogrčkoj filozofiji
Platona, budizmu, Konfučija, hrišćanstvu i/ili islamu. još kao dete, bio sam
član gradske biblioteke. i danas se sećam kada sam u rodnom novom
Pazaru sedeo u ćošku jedine sobe, veličine nekih 3,5 X 3,5 metra, gde smo
živeli i spavali nas sedmoro članova porodice, sa nušećevim romanom
„Hajduci“ u rukama, kada sam se grohotom smejao, na čuđenje moje
nepismene majke Hamide i maloletne sestre Mejreme. Tada je moja sestra
majci govorila da je „Mado (moj nadimak u Pazaru) dalja (budala) jer se
smeje sam sa sobom“. Voleo sam tada i sve knjige Hiljadu i jedna noć, bajke
koje su budile maštu o jednom neobičnom svetu i vremenu. Voleo sam i
mnoge druge knjige, ali, nažaolst, ne i knjige školskih nastavnih programa
osmogodišnje škole, jer sam dva puta „uspeo“ da ponavljam razrede, a ne
sećam se da sam ikada prošao u sledeći razred a da nisam išao na popravni
ispit. nisam se naročito isticao ni u srednjoj ugostiteljskoj školi u Vrnjačkoj
Banji niti u Beogradu u ugostiteljskoj školi za VKV konobare.

Početkom 2005. sam u novom Pazaru dobio neki blok kalendar i došao na
ideju da sakupljam citate iz svega što pročitam, uključujući i skraćenu verziju
veoma retkih knjiga iz moje bogate biblioteke, na koju sam vrlo ponosan, i
nazvao „Muradinove mudrolije“, i podelio na dva dela: vaš vodič ličnog
razvoja i vaš vodič profesionalnog razvoja. da, mi smo ljudi i ono što radimo.
ova knjiga je, kao šlag na torti, sastavni deo programa karijernih ugostiteljskih
škola, trening centara i koledža za sve one koji žele da grade svoju interkon-
tinentalu karijeru sa početkom u turizmu Kanade.
