All rights reserved. 2 . introduction This is your go to guide for all things furniture, accessory, equipment and art related to help decorate your NectarTM spa down to the smallest detail. In an effort to provide each project with a variety of options and the flexibility to allow the local culture to shine through this document has been created as a set of visual style guidelines. Each section should guide the design team through the process of selecting the appropriate furnishings through the description of an objective, a rationale and visual styling images. disclaimer This document serves as the official spa FF+E guidelines for Nectar and is to be used in conjunction with the Interior Design Criteria and the Interior Design Standards document that defines specific finishes, millwork, furniture, accessories, equipment, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc. It is intended as a resource to establish and maintain design consistency across all Nectar spas. Parties involved in the creation or design of spas related to Nectar must adhere to the rules set forth within this guide. Individual project constraints and or regional market conditions may require deviations from these criteria. Any design-related questions not covered within this guide, must be submitted for review by a Nectar representative. Prior to relying on or implementing the spa design standards, verify with Nectar that this edition is current and contains the latest modifications. nectar at Sheraton vision Connecting light, earth, water and air with a whimsical attitude Nectar is more than a place for relaxation; it is a place for gathering; a place for slowing down - and most importantly, a place where guests are encouraged to engage and lavish themselves in the now. With a fresh perspective and a new approach, Nectar folds life’s enthusiasm into tranquility. Peeling back the notions of stuffiness, whispers and discomfort commonly associated with spa, Nectar creates environments where guests are invited to connect and laugh out loud; embracing life and those few moments dedicated to really enjoying it. Typical spa spaces are enhanced through sensory emersion instantly engaging guests in the present through sight, sound, scent and savor. Gender specific areas are enhanced through a custom steam and sauna that come together with the hypnotic motion of color and water. The community relaxation area offers pods where friends can sit together and relish in laughter, or personal spaces where an individual can soak in the silence. Treatment rooms have been designed to ensure that guests sink into the connection of a truly nurturing service. In addition to unique spaces, the guest journey is punctuated through a series of signature touches that characterize our service philosophy. Urging guests to let go of everything that may be running through their minds, guests are welcomed into Nectar through the D-zone, or decompression zone, where light, aroma, and music all shift to ensure that they may be present in their experience. As they move further into the experience, guests will be moved in and out of their services through multi-sensory notes; a small amuse of frozen tea readies the whole body for the treatment ahead and they are awoken after by the revitalizing scent of mint. It is these small touches and the attention to details along the way that ensure Nectar comes to life offering guests an opportunity to be vibrant and fresh. Playful, youthful and full of life, Nectar ensures that guests Feel Good NowTM .

Combining usual contemporary materials and forms in unusual ways Nectar creates a whimsical setting for enjoying all that life has to offer. By customizing signature design elements to concur with economies of scale and operational efficiencies, Nectar will create unique, memorable spaces that are distinctly identifiable. Nectar’s design landscape relies on: • A field of neutral colors punctuated with juicy accents • Fun, whimsical yet approachable accents • A strong use of tactile materials • Repetitive and clustered everyday objects to create visual interest. • Incorporation of organic design elements • Paneled elements with juicy cut-outs • Lighting as a strong architectural feature • Modular millwork • Eco-sensitivity both in selection of finishes and resource utilization sustainability Nectar strives to promote and protect the environment for today and for future generations by incorporating sustainability practices into each spa project. When specifying furniture and fabrics for the spa environment consider products that have been created with the following ideas in mind: reclaimed or recycled content, sustainable manufacturing processes, renewable resources such as bamboo textiles, Greenguard certification and certified forest resources. The above list is only a brief outline of sustainable furniture specification concepts. Please visit online resources such as The Sustainable Furnishings Council (www.sustainablefurniturecouncil.org) for additional resources. general ff+e finish specifications Water and Soil Repellants Manufacturer: Schneider Textiles Process: Protective finish against soils and stains will not cause change of hand or effect color shades.
