2 09. Experience at University Level : 01. Member In The Standing Committee** of Madurai Kamaraj University for Three Years During 2006 – 2009. The Standing Committee is the Core Academic Committee which comprises 8 members only including the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar. This Committee is responsible for deciding Academic matters of the University and affiliated colleges of University. As an Elected Member of this Committee, I have involved myself in deciding many academic matters. [**The Standing Committee of Madurai Kamaraj University Is the Academic Core Committee comprising of 6 Elected Members along with Vice-Chancellor and Registrar.] 02. Member in Academic Council of Madurai Kamaraj University for Three Years including 2006 – 2009. I represented our College in the Academic Council and discussed various academic matters pertaining to various Affiliated Colleges. 03. Member of Examination Committee of Madurai Kamaraj University: As a member of this Committee, I had the opportunity to propose suggestions for preparing Time – Table and modifying Valuation processes for Semester Examinations. 04. Member of Physical Examination Committee of Madurai Kamaraj University: As a member of this Committee, I proposed many suggestions for organizing various Tournament and other Sports related activities in the University Campus. Also organized a Summer Special Coaching Camp. 05. Member of Flying Squad for both Semester and Non-Semester Examinations of Madurai Kamaraj University. As a Flying Squad Member, I have made many surprise visits to several Colleges and helped the University to conduct the Examinations in stream-lined way. I have also made surprise visits to the Examination Centres of Madurai Kamaraj University located in Other States and offered suggestions for smooth conduct of Examinations. 06. Member, Board of Studies for M. Sc., Chemistry of Madurai Kamaraj University. 10. Experience in Management Committee of Kodaikanal Christian College, Kodaikanal : I have been appointed as University Representative in the Management Committee of Kodaikanal Christian College for a period of Two Years. This rarest of rare chance to become Member of Management of other Colleges. 11. Books Published : I have written Two Text Books for Anna University B.E., Students. These books were very useful for the first year students who studied in the Affiliated Colleges of Anna University. 12. Board of Studies of other College : I was a Member of Board of Studies of Sadakathullah Appa College, Palayamkottai. I gave many suggestions to design the Syllabus of B. Sc., as well as M. Sc., Chemistry Courses of this College.
3 13. Experience in the Administration of our College : 01. I have been appointed as the Director of Self-Financed Courses of our College for Two Years. During my tenure, I maintained strict discipline, involved myself in many activities for the welfare of the College which the then management asked me to do. 02. Brought new Diploma Course in the Computer Applications. This course has paved way for students to get a diploma along with a Degree Course simultaneously. 03. I have served as “Semester Co-ordinator” of our College for 1 Year. In this capacity I have conducted Internal Assessment Tests during the Academic Year 1992 – 1993. 04. I have also served as NSS Program Officer for Two Years from 1989 – 1991. 05. At present, I am serving as NSS Program Officer since July 2014 to till date. 06. During this period, I have conducted many meetings and One Day Camps. 07. Recently, I have conducted along with other NSS Program Officers, a Seven Days Special NSS Camp at Kalimangalam from 25.03.2016 to 31.03.2016. 14. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) : I have been appointed as Associate Co-ordinator of NAAC during the Academic Year 2015 – 2016. As Associate Co-ordinator of NAAC, I have worked overtime to bring out the Self-Study Report (SSR) on time. This Report has been submitted to NAAC, Bangalore. 15. Data Centre Co-ordinator : I am serving as Data Centre Co-ordinator for the past Six Years since 2010. As Data Centre Co-ordinator, I am carrying out all sorts of online works for our College. 16.
