A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

What a great time we had in Curaçao! I thoroughly enjoyed the chance
to speak with and congratulate all of you in person, and I was once again
struck by the caliber of people who make up our organization.
You have every reason to be proud of the passion and dedication you bring
to our business. Your efforts are valued by your clients, your candidates,
your colleagues, and all of us who support you. This trip not only rewards
you for those efforts, but also reinforces and renews the relationships
that make MRINetwork® unique in our industry.
It was truly an honor for me to share this occasion with you. You have my
gratitude for your accomplishments of the past year and my best wishes
and commitment to making this year even better. Hope to see all of you
next year in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

WESTPORT ONE

Since joining MRINetwork in 1997, Chris has progressed from an
account executive running a desk to operations and development
manager to the position he holds today as part owner and
managing partner of Westport One. During those twenty years,
he also became a CSAM and a frequent Pacesetter.

As mandated by the criteria for this prestigious award, over the
past year Chris has made contributions to the Network that are
worthy of recognition, gratitude and respect from his peers. He
tirelessly devotes time to help anyone who needs guidance in
critical areas like hiring, training and development, social media
and technology. He is also a frequent presenter on these topics
at global and regional meetings.
 
This past year Chris became a member of the Vendor
Committee, providing feedback and advice on the RFI process
and on new vendors.  He has also served on the MRINetwork
Charitable Foundation and recently accepted the role of
president of the Foundation. He created and launched “Move
Across America,” a fundraising project that mobilized over 200
MRINetwork people to raise over $9,000 for St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.

Chris is a great believer in giving back, cultivating a positive
attitude and getting involved. He champions the incredible
opportunity the Network offers its people to shape their futures.
He joins the ranks of Person of the Year winners because he
lives up to these ideals each and every day.
