Per Weiss

The Danish designer, Per Weiss, is head of the
design department. He was born in 1959 in
Denmark and is the Director of Innovation
Design Office International. As an all-round
creative person, he started his career as a
professional musician, while already studying
at the School of Architecture in Aarhus. Then
giving a higher priority to his design visions,
he worked for some of the famous Danish
architects, Friis & Moltke and Schmidt,
Hammer & Lassen.

Not only our design, but also our company values have a clear vision for the future.
Innovation has a certified environmental profile, and all recyclable waste, like cardboard,
plastic, iron and metal, is separated and used in other productions. Residual, combustible
waste is incinerated in low-pollution plants. Packaging is reduced to the minimum needed
for safe transportation.

Two generations behind Frej

The Frej design is a result of a close partnership between father Per Weiss and his son Oliver
Weiss Krogh.

Frej is based on the original ideas behind the classic Danish furniture designs in the 50s and
60s which is interpreted in a contemporary style with a future aim. Frej armrest fits to
Splitback, Asmund, Dublexo and Fiftynine - a modern multifunctional design for the
everyday use.

Spring mattress 13-16 cm

The Excess Pocket Spring is a fusion mattress with 13-16
cm pocket spring, which makes it an extra soft and
comfortable mattress.

Latex mattress

The Latex is a fusion mattress with a 12 cm high-
resilient latex core surrounded by a layer of breathable,
carted cotton. A supple natural mattress of high quality
and longevity that adjusts to your body.

Over the past 25 years, we have continually developed and refined our mattresses in order to
improve comfort and durability.

Historical Review

Innovation™ was founded in 1971 in Denmark
by Flemming Højfeldt, who is still the owner and
Chairman of the company. Inspired by his
personal experience with the first production
communities of the flower power generation, he
started the company with a production of
beanbags.

25 years of hand made Danish quality

Innovation™ consist of two collections One Room Living and Istyle. The core of the One
Room Living collection is an undivided and easy bendable mattress, which ensures a firm
and supportive surface for relaxing, sleeping and sitting. The unique about the One Room
Living collection is a conceptual design idea a so-called knock down design.
