“When he realized what he had done, he said, ‘the looks on those
kids’ faces when I took the presents in — there was no way I was
going to walk back into that house and say you have to give half of
the gifts back.’ So he went and bought gifts himself to replace them,”
Lonny remembered.
Two of the AM’ers’ newest members have volunteered for the
Secret Santa project for the past three or four years. They are Erin
Almelien and Tracy Shriver. They became official members this
summer. They have also officially volunteered to be on the Secret
Santa committee.
