T The TNCHEP Department in collaboration with UTMDigital in 2016 has provided a Student
Activity System recording platform through the UTMACAD application that has been used to
date. Accordingly, to meet the current needs and continuity of the UTMACAD system, the Stu-
dent Activity Transcript (UTMSAT) was introduced. UTMSAT is a system that will use raw data from
the UTMACAD system to facilitate the interpretation of achievement for each student.This UTMSAT
will list the categories and types of activities that each student participates in throughout their stud-
ies at the university,to be a supporting document for students’ skills in co -curricular and personali-
ty aspects and provide added value to students to use in job applications. List the categories and types
of activities that each student participates in throughout their studies at the university. To be a sup-

Award & Appreciation
The highest recognition, victories or accolades
at various levels that indicate the non-academic
prowess, skills and excellence given to students
at various levels that are not in other categories.
“Recognition” means appreciation on contribution,
services or prizes received by a student throughout their
study, given by the University, any Organisations, the
Government or Community.
“Award” means prizes or gifts received (non-academic)
by students for their success that is recognised at the
national or international level by the University, any
Organisations, the Government or Community.

Leadership/ Association/ Club
Position held or appointed in an organisation,
SRC, association, club, secretariat or college
committee.
“Leadership” means behaviour that has the ability to
change the direction of an organisation, as well as to
provide effective communications with students,
appreciate social responsibility, be competitive, resilient
and confident, influential and be the starter for other
students.
“Association / Club” means a student association or
club including the SRC and Student Residential College
Committee (JKM) approved for establishment by the
University

Enterprenuership/ Management
Student involvement in building and applying
entrepreneurial skills and activities such as the creation/
production of something new that contributes to the
economic development of themselves and society.
“Entrepreneurship” means the awareness, appreciation,
involvement and strengthening of the minds of students
who are critical and creative thinking and able to work
in groups related to the field of entrepreneurship or
employment.
“Management” means exposure to aspects of self-man-
agement, human resources, facilities and organisations
that help improve employability skills in the job.

Community Service & Volunteering
Programs collaborated with associations, clubs,
NGOs that are recognized as groups or individ-
uals that contribute to the well-being of society.
“Community Service” means fieldwork carried out by
students with the local community within or outside
the country with a view to the development of the target
community.
“Volunteerism” means an activity carried out through
an organisation, team or community for the purpose of
benefiting the community carried out without coercion
and without being rewarded.

Innovation/ Creativity
Activities involving the invention or production
of new products and/ or improvement/ modifi-
cation of existing products/ programs (innova-
tions) for the purpose of exhibitions or compe-
titions.
“Innovation” means an action / act in introducing or
creating something new or producing an innovation
through the spark of creativity and innovative in the
modification or improvement of a program.

Sport & Recreation
Sports / leisure activities participated by stu-
dents in various types of participation or com-
petition.
“Sport” means physical activity performed for various
purposes such as competition, fun, development, skill
and excellence.
“Recreation” means activities planned in leisure time for
the purpose of pleasure, peace of mind, fitness and in
the form of leisure such as climbing, rowing, hiking and
others.

Spirituality & Culture
Activities that involve the way of life of students and so-
ciety or all aspects of thinking and behavior inherited
through the learning process and include knowledge, be-
liefs, morals, laws, customs and other abilities and habits
possessed by humans.
“Spirituality” means a continuous effort towards devel-
oping the potential of students in a comprehensive and
integrated manner to produce a balanced and harmo-
nious human being in terms of intellectual, spiritual,
emotional and physical based on faith and obedience to
God.
“Culture” means the way of life of a society, civilisation,
progress which refers to the whole way of human life in
all areas involving their efforts.

Academic Enrichment
Academically related learning and exposure ac-
tivities outside the lecture room.
“Academic Enrichment” means academic activities in
the form of writing, publishing, presentations, posters
and consultations outside the lecture hall that assist stu-
dents’ academic excellence.

Counselling & Career Development
Various activities involving students that can
increase the marketability of students such as
soft skills, career motivation, stress manage-
ment and other activities that are not included
in the previous categories that have been ap-
proved by the University.
“Counselling” means student support activities that
involve advice and guidance in the form of mentoring
and coaching.
“Career development” means developing student
competencies to increase marketability and industry
acceptance.
