• 85% of the population is Roman Catholic
• There are small numbers of Muslims, Jewish, Hindus and

• Natural resources: copper, mahogany forests, shrimp,
hydropower

Mahogany: is a kind of wood—the straight-grained,
reddish-brown timber
Copper: Copper is a chemical element with symbol Cu
and atomic number 29. A freshly exposed surface of pure
copper has a reddish-orange color.
