Walking Tree Landlord Presentation

COMPANY PROFILE

Walking Tree Ventures Pvt Ltd is the umbrella company for a group of
dynamic, value-based companies, backed by two global diamond and
jewellery powerhouses H Dipak and the KBS Group.

H Dipak is the world’s largest manufacturer of princess cut diamonds and
specialist of ‘unround' diamonds since the 1990s, while the KBS Group was
established in 1975 and is one of the preeminent manufacturers and traders of
diamond jewellery.

The Walking Tree’s curated, consumer-driven brands have each been born of
a vision to make jewellery more relevant and relatable to the contemporary,
discerning buyer. Each brand is defined by an identity that brings rich
complexity into a single, inspiring idea. These ideas become value-
propositions and products powered by cutting-edge design facilities,
manufacturing units and marketing.

The Walking Tree’s brands reach markets like Europe, China and India.
These include the design lab and manufactory, Fab Jewels, in Mumbai; B2B
brand, Fabulous Unrounds in Asia (India and China being core markets);
consumer-driven retail brands, Shades of Love in China, Unsaid Library in
Europe, Her Story in India; and the incubator for young brands, 10x Brand
Capital in India.

KEY LEADERS’ PROFILES

The premiers of the Walking Tree,  Ankit Mehta  (Director of Business Development and
Marketing) and  Kunal Shah  (Director of Product Design and Manufacturing), infuse the
companies with a contemporary sensibility, dynamic ideas and a unique vision and
consumer proposition.

Ankit Mehta, a Warwick Business School graduate in Business Marketing and Strategy,
has been a part of the company since over a decade. He is responsible for expanding
and diversifying the portfolio of the family business. This has led to strategic ventures
into retail; 3D printing through Imaginarium—India's largest 3D printing company; and
10X Brand Capital, which is an incubator of young brands.

Kunal Shah brings nearly two decades of experience to the table. Under his leadership,
the KBS Group became one of the largest exporters of jewellery, winning the GJEPC
award for the highest jewellery exporter in 2015. In 2008 he expanded the local business,
investing in a cutting-edge design studio to bring the international sensibility to the Indian
consumer.

Antwerp-based Shraddha Mehta has creatively conceptualised Unsaid Library, while
working on consumer insights and creative strategy across all Walking Tree brands. With
an undergraduate degree in Psychology from University College London and a masters in
management from the London Business School, she has a professional background in
strategic consulting as well as launching young start-ups.

The Walking Tree has attracted industry veterans and leaders, including Tanya Sabharwal
(Retail Business Strategy), Salman Bukhari (Marketing & Strategy), Hina Sawlani (Product
Design), Rachana Dharia (Digital Marketing and Communications) and Falguni Kapadia
(Visual Communications), who have each spent decades in their individual industries
working with the top global luxury brands or industry stalwarts.

The Walking Tree’s teams across Antwerp, Hong Kong, China and India work closely to
fresh insights, creative concepts, multi-disciplinary design talent, and engineering
expertise to design unique, consumer-connected jewellery ideas.

RETAIL BRAND - EUROPE

For all that needs to be said,
but never was.

Unsaid Library was founded around a simple, yet profound insight.
The realisation that our most heartfelt emotions, the ones we
experience in some of the most intimate relationships of our lives,
often remain unexpressed. Words seem to fail us and we rarely
find the time to share our truest feelings.

Unsaid Library makes truly precious gifts by turning our deepest
emotions into great designs.

RETAIL BRAND - CHINA

Because there is no love story,

like your love story.

A love story captures the beauty of a relationship between two
people. While love is universal, the stories differ. And there is a
perfectly unique diamond shape for each kind of love story. A
Shades of Love jewel becomes a personal and intimate symbol of
that enduring love.

BRAND PROPOSITION

Her Story, launching in India in December 2018, is a modern
jewellery brand that takes inspiration from the abstract aspects of
a woman's experiences and identity, and translates the
metaphorical journeys and multi-dimensional identities into unique
expressions of jewellery.

It targets the confident, self-powered, creatively-engaged, upper-
middle class woman (20-45 years), who values contemporary
design and seeks avenues for self-expression.

Having been extensively tested and researched in the market, Her
Story is now embarking upon a 3-year retail roll-out plan, with
stores in Mumbai and Delhi and moving pop-ups in pan-India.

Her Story’s retail proposition would be different and unlike a
typical jewellery store. Embodying sophistication and tastefulness,
the boutique would encourage browsing and being inspired to buy
via a gallery format and impactful visual merchandising.

She seeks intimate moments that allow her to disconnect.

BRAND POSITION

Her Story is positioned as a modern brand that speaks to both younger and older audiences in the most relevant voice,
design language and retail experience.

Innovative
