Exquisite diamonds and divine gemstones in the design lab inspire
pièce de résistance jewels. One-of-a-kind, exceptional pieces that
are visualised, designed and handcrafted as individual works of
art, inspired by the most beautiful moments in nature. To become

Three elegant jewel collections come together in a stunning
conceptual experience: the elegant and sophisticated Lumière,
the effervescent Mélange and the majestic Oeuvre. All within the
master line, Serendipity, comprising once-in-a-lifetime jewels that
may never be created again.

extraordinary….

Making of the Jewels

The Serendipity limited-edition jewels are crafted after creative
visualisation and multiple iterations.

Hundreds of sketches are worked upon, of which one may
eventually be selected to be produced. Upon finalisation, the
artists create the gouache: a coloured rendering of the piece,
which must accurately capture what it will look like when finished
– from the exact depth and dimensions to the shades and facets
of the diamonds, and the way light will reflect off them to achieve
the maximum shine. Once the gouache has been approved by the
maison the design goes into precision sourcing and crafting.

Finding diamonds and gemstones to match the gouache can be
a painstaking process, to acquire the exact shades, shapes and
sizes. Precious metal, while adding impactful value to the jewel,
should be crafted with finesse to not overpower the sparkle of the
gemstones.





Master jewellers then model the framework of the piece, which
can be done in wax or by directly hand-c­ arving the design on a
plate of the base metal, usually gold. Setting the diamonds and
gemstones forms the key element in the masterpieces, where
the judiciously-chosen minimal metal holds the diamonds with
optimum strength with an ingenious blend of engineering and
creativity.

A jewel comprising 1,000 irregularly-shaped stones would take
about 400 hours at the stone-setter’s station, fresh off its 700-hour
journey with the master jeweller, not to count the time it takes for
sketches and gouaches to be drawn, painted and approved, and
gems to be sourced.

The final step in the process is the polishing of the jewel. In regular
jewellery collections, pieces are typically polished once finished;
however, jewels of this calibre are polished three to five times,
before and after a piece is set, and after it has been assembled,
including polishing the most remote parts, even those not visible
to the eye.

Unique designs, painstaking attention to detail, and exacting
craftsmanship are hallmarks of the intricate Serendipity line of
jewels.

of brilliance. Each piece is handcrafted to showcase the natural
glow and to catch light from every angle. Intricate, nuanced
detailing leads to stunning visual movement. The designs celebrate

The Fern

Like drops of early morning dew on lush ferns, these sophisticated
earrings have been designed for subtle glamour. Carefully chosen
rose-cuts, for precision of shape and lustre, are juxtaposed against
brilliant-cut diamonds. Handcrafted for a supple flexibility with
fine finesse in setting, this jewel cascades with feather-like lightness.







The Wisteria

Inspired by the stunning natural beauty of the Japanese wisteria
gardens, the earrings depict graceful flowers that symbolise love
and longevity. The brilliance of the diamonds is accompanied by
a fine trimming of shimmer at the end of each petal. Flexible and
light, the earrings float like radiant blossoms.
