1. Soil Fittings.
- water closet
- urinal
- slop hopper
2. Waste Appliances
- wash basins
- sinks
- baths
- shower
- bidet

(b) FOUR good criteria for sanitary fittings.
1. durable
2. hard
3. smooth
4. easily cleaned
5. non-absorbent surface (pick any 4)

(c) FOUR criteria for disable person toilet.
1. The toilet should not be smaller than 1600 mm x 2000 mm.
2. The layout and fixtures must be standardized so that visually impared people can find
the paper, sink and toilet flush easily.
3. The toilet musthave enough clear space for wheelchair to maneuver.
4. The door opening should not be less than 900 mm.
5. The door should be either sliding or should swing outwards.
6. The door should be made so that it can be opened from the outside in case there is
emergency.
