Loy Krathong Festival

Loy Krathong Festival is one of the famous

popular festivals in Thailand. It is in November

on the night of the full moon. It is celebrated

to give thanks to the goddess of water.

The Krathongs are made of banana leaves in

many shapes. We put flowers, candles, joss

sticks and coins in the Krathongs. Then we

float the Krathongs in the river or the canals

for forgiveness of the bad things that we have

done to them. We also thank them for our

livings. We believe the Krathongs will take our
