What is Past Simple Tense?




Past Simple Tense คือ
ประโยคอดีตกาล เป็ นโครงสร้างประโยคที่เรา
ใช้เล่าเหตุการณ์ต่าง ๆ ในอดีต ที่สิ้นสุดไปแล้ว
หรือกิจกรรมที่เราเคยทำเป็ นนิ สัย แต่ว่าเลิกทำ

หลักการใช้
Past Simple Tense

1.ใช้พูดถึงเหตุการณ์ในอดีตที่เกิดขึ้นใน
อดีตและจบลงไปแล้ว มักจะมีการระบุ
เวลาช่วงเวลาไว้ด้วย

Example
She came here yesterday. เธอมาที่นี่ เมื่อวานนี้

I met Emma last week. ฉันพบเอ็มม่าเมื่ออาทิตย์ที่แล้ว

My cat died two years ago. แมวของฉันตายเมื่อ 2 ปี ก่อน

2.ใช้เล่ากิจวัตรหรือนิ สัยที่เคยทำในอดีต
แต่ปั จจุบันนี้ ไม่ทำแล้ว

Example
She always went to school late last month.
หล่อนไปโรงเรียนสายเสมอเมื่อเดือนที่แล้ว
(เดือนนี้ ไม่มาสายแล้ว)

We cooked every day last year.
พวกเราทำอาหารทุกวันเมื่อปี ที่แล้ว
(ปี นี้ ไม่ได้ทำอาหารทุกวันแล้ว)

3.ใช้เล่านิ ทาน ส่วนใหญ่จะมีคำว่า Long
time ago หรือ Once upon a time

Example
Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack.
He lived with his mother. They were very poor.
One morning, Jack‘s mother told Jack to take their
cow to market and sell her. On the way, Jack met a
man. He gave Jack some magic beans for the cow.

last Monday จันทร์ที่แล้ว
last + เวลา/ วัน/ สัปดาห์/ last week สัปดาห์ที่แล้ว
เดือน/ ฤดู/ ปี last month เดือนที่แล้ว
last year ปี ที่แล้ว
last summer ฤดูร้อนที่แล้ว
last winter ฤดูหนาวที่แล้ว
last Christmas คริสต์มาสที่แล้ว

ที่ใช้กับ Past Simple Tense

วินาที/ นาที/ ชั่วโมง/ ten seconds ago สิบวินาทีที่แล้ว
วัน/ สัปดาห์/ เดือน/ ปี five minutes ago ห้านาทีที่แล้ว
three day ago สามวันที่แล้ว
+ ago two weeks ago สองสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว
one month ago หนึ่ งเดือนที่แล้ว
four years ago สี่ ปี ที่แล้ว

Form of Verbs
รู ปของคำกริยา

1.Regular Verb (กริยาไม่เปลี่ยนรู ป) คือ เมื่อเปลี่ยน
จากกริยาช่องที่ 1 มาเป็ นกริยาช่องที่ 2 ก็ยังคงรู ปเดิม
แค่เติม -ed ท้ายคำกริยา

cook >>> cooked

1.Irregular Verb (กริยาเปลี่ยนรู ป) คือ เมื่อเปลี่ยน
จากกริยาช่องที่ 1 มาเป็ นกริยาช่องที่ 2 จะเปลี่ยนรู ป
เขียนไม่เหมือนเดิม

-ed

1.เติม -ed ท้ายกริยาทั่วไปได้เลย

2.คำกริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วยe ให้เติม d ได้เลย
Example
like >> liked
bake >> baked
dance >> danced
move >> moved
die >> died

3.คำกริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย y
-หน้ า y เป็ นพยัญชนะ ให้เปลี่ยน y เป็ น i ก่อน
แล้วเติม ed

Example

cry >> cried
carry >> carried

-หน้ า y เป็ นสระ ให้เติม ed ได้เลย
