Hakuna Matata
What makes Hakuna Matata a ‘problem- free philosophy’ is the deeper understanding from which it stems
that everything in our lives is temporary, cyclical and impermanent.
Everything that exists in the physical universe is subject to the laws of change. Our physical bodies, our
health, each one of our relationships, careers, jobs, financial status will eventually come to an end.
Everything you hold dear to your heart, every dream, every desire, every vision, goal or project you want to manifest will
eventually come to pass or be replaced by what happens next. Every problem, adverse circumstance or challenge you are
currently facing and feeling worried or stressed about will eventually lapse.
Can you think for a moment about what was happening in your life precisely five years ago? Where were
you? What was happening in your life? What were you most worried about? What was keeping you up at
night?
Now let me ask you, what did worrying so much about it get you? Was it all worth it?
Instead, what if you could re-direct your creative fire towards becoming the kind of person who would naturally
overcome such problems or experience the total opposite of what you’re currently experiencing? If you were
such a person, how would you feel emotionally right now? Would you feel more calm, peaceful or grateful?
More importantly, what would you start doing differently right now?
The next time you catch yourself worrying about the worst thing that could happen, say to yourself
‘Hakuna Matata!’ Use this phrase as a powerful mantra to help you move away from fear and worry towards finding
a creative solution. This simple prayer can help you get started this new year.
‘Hakuna Matata’
what a wonderful phrase!!!
Ain’t no passing craze
It means no worries,
for the rest of your days.
It’s our problem free philosophy
(Verses from Lion King)
Hakuna Matata!!!
From my heart to yours

Kindergarteners’ Artwork
Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has
thought.” Clay modelling is one such creativity to stimulate the imagination of the children
and enable them to give a better shape to their creativity and develop speaking skills. Good
hand-eye coordination can improve the child’s agility, aestheticism and handwriting. Using
clay during playtime will also help them engage the muscles of their hands and arms.

Collage Making Competition
Collage is like a hall of mirrors. Every direction you look, you see something different and
visually stimulating. The stories are created and the viewers are carried away by the aesthetic
arrangement. It is another chance where the students also exercise their motor skills.
The students of Smart Indian School gave their complete participation in the competition.
This collage competition provided a yet another opportunity for the kindergarteners to explore their
own creativity through tearing and sticking colourful pieces of paper to form beautiful images.
The children enjoyed the sense of accomplishment with great patience and were happy to
enjoy this work of assembling the creative pieces of art.
