06. WHAT’S YOUR DREAM JOB?
That was a rhetorical question if you didn’t know that.
Anyway, it’s senior high and time to get serious. The
answer to that question will automatically become
your major. Sure, colleges in America allow
undergrads to be “undecided”, however pushing it
would be being undecided for 1 year+ which means
you’ll graduate slower than your college mates. See
the problem?

07. YOUR PERSONAL STATEMENT
It’s your personal essay to college. And it can be
entirely about anything ranging from writing about
your life experience as a redhead or your favorite
teacher. The important thing is it’s got to be unique
and very you. The hard part is it can’t be cliché. Find
something about you or your life that is unique. Better
yet tell yourself to do something new every day – it
might be inspiring. Sit down and start typing. If you
brainstorm some ideas now, it’ll be a lifesaver for you
in your senior year.

08. EARLY DECISION/ACTION, PEOPLE
Applying early to college. The purpose: showing your
strong passion about that particular college. Early
Decision? Binding. If they accept you, you have to go.
Early Action? Not binding.

09. UNIGO.COM
A site where students tell us all about their college
– campus life, the food, the sights, and importantly
how the people are at the college. This is important
because people in the same college are similar in one
way or another soooo… looking up this will either
give you second thoughts about the college, make you
want to go more or be something amusing to pass the
time.

The most important thing to remember is to manage your
time. Too much SAT classes can amount to less time for
inspiring activities. Too many activities can amount to
ugly score reports… Just saying.

1 The ‘’Thai” way of describing a nerd: If you register for every course at Wannasorn
or if your life is filled with weekends and weekdays studying. In short, if you don’t have
a life.

adult fiction? A story sets in a futuristic, dystopian
world where the two underprivileged teenage
protagonists are left to struggle for their lives under
the hands of some evil, rich, powerful rulers? It’s not
like we have never seen such stories before. So why
then, that from the moment we picked up the book and
read the first page, we all somehow fell in love with
that girl on fire?

I guess the reason why we love The Hunger Games so
much is because there is a little bit of Katniss Everdeen
inside all of us (if you don’t know who she is by now, I
just can’t help you there. You are really missing out.),
and by reading about her adventures, we, too, felt as
if we were fighting alongside her. To me, it was this op-
portunity to finally be able to “fight” for ourselves at
least for a little while that makes this book series, and
its movie adaptation, so compelling to teens like us.

The desire to “fight” in this case does not literally mean
that we long to shoot and kill our friends with her bow
and arrows like Katniss did, or that we are just a bunch
of hotheaded, passive-aggressive teenagers who se-

the current state of the environment. Our chief
concern is to support the wellness of humanity.

At the moment, we have established three campaigns
– selling organic food, paper recycling, and
Sustainability Day.

The first campaign, selling organic food, is initiated
to promote the “clean” method of food production.
Organic farming ensures the least negative impact on
the environment, as well as on the consumer’s health.
The income from this campaign is then used to create
sustainable projects for EPTS students.

The second campaign, paper recycling, is a competi-
tion of M1 to M5 EPTS students to collect recycled
paper. At the end of each month, the class that
collects the greatest amount of paper will receive a
Save reward. The purpose of this competition is to increase
the awareness that recycling is one simple way to
reduce the exploitation of resources.

“We started our trip 8 o’clock sharp in the morning and the first place we stopped by
was Pete Maze. We entered the maze in group of 10 in which we all tied our wrists
together before we went in. The rule was that whichever group comes out of the maze
first gets to have lunch first (smile). After we got baffled by the labyrinth we went to the
Greenery Resort Khaoyai. We had lots of fun activities like treasure hunting, Baby Oscar,
and OSOP (One student one product) there. I swear that the six days at Greenery Resort
Khaoyai were the most enjoyable days so far.”

Wcourse in England, of course! A few days ago,
our great reporter interviewed an M3 student about her
trip.
“It was absolutely magnificent,” said Chayanin Taijongrak.

“We got a lot more friends and an experience we’ll never
forget. The English people were incredibly handsome, and
they’re so friendly!”
Our reporter had also asked her what specific things or
events she especially liked.
“I like Easter days. We had many great and fun activi-
ties…”

Next, we asked her, ‘How about your experience in
Canada Summer Course 2 years ago?’
“Well, it was very different. Canada was a quiet and
bucolic country. You could see the cows walking in the
plains... something like that. England was more like a
highly populated urban city. It was neat, though. Streets
were clean, and everything was perfect. We walked to
