What is the Learning & Development Council (LDC)?
The Learning and Development Council serves as an
enterprise resource group responsible for developing
and implementing the Associationʼs learning and
development strategy. The LDC promotes training best
practices and operational and costs efficiencies through
resource sharing and collaboration. The LDC is a
representative of each department to assess employee
learning and development needs and share the needs to

webinar. This is a refresher of the Rights &

CERTIFICATIONS &
DESIGNATIONS
Insurance Certifications and Designations are a
Certifications & component of the Association Learning and
Designations Development Program Policy. The Association
offers sponsorship and professional
development incentives for most insurance
related certifications and designations
provided through The Institutes.
Non-Insurance TWIA/TFPA encourages employees to
Certifications & complete certifications and designations that
Designations will benefit both employees and
policyholders. Courses, certifications and
designations in some fields not exclusively
related to insurance (e.g., CPA, PMP, MCSE)
may be considered for sponsorship on the
approval of managers and department Vice
Presidents; all Professional Development
incentives must be approved by the General
Manager.

includes appendices A, B, and C,
which are necessary forms for
certification programs.
