War is no longer a strange thing
for all of us. It usually happens
because there is no tolerance between
people even if they are in different
countries. War is an armed conflict
between different countries or different
groups within a country. War is
something that does not bring benefits
in our daily life. On the other hand, war
brigs various evils that affect various
life on earth such as humans, animals,
nature and so on.

Why does war damage or harm
the world? Wars happen because
people compete with each other to
build sophisticated weapons between
countries. A variety of unimaginable
destruction on a large scale. War has
the worst impact because it involves
innocent lives such as children,
women and the elderly who are
victims of war. They were killed
without mercy. For example, in
Nanjing, China there was a war of
mass murder during the second world
war. Therefore, it is clear that war has
a negative impact on the people in
the country. In addition, those who
survived the war must have been
traumatized for the rest of their lives.

As we know, ongoing war will lead to
severe emotional disturbances among
the people, especially to children who
are growing up. Children who live in the
chaos of war will experience severe
emotional disturbances if they do not
receive proper treatment. This is
because, they have seen atrocities
such as being bombed, shot and so on
since childhood. Most children who
survive for the wars will experience
trauma and possibly physical
disabilities as a result of the war. War
can give the impact on their lives and
remained in their memory for years.

Furthermore, war will cause the
destruction of public infrastructure. War
will result in the destruction of hospitals,
schools and government buildings which
can paralyze the administration of a
country. As a result, they can’t treat
people and can’t provide shelter for the
people. This can affect the country’s
money. The country will suffer huge
losses that may involve hundreds of
millions and rebuilding the buildings that
have been damaged will take a long time.
The country’s money become unstable
also cause people to lose their homes,
school and places to get treatment
besides the government will also be
affected due to instability.

War not only causes harm and damage to
people and buildings, but war also causes
environmental pollution to occur more
severely. The use of tanks and machinery in
war will damage the forest areas and can
destroy flora and fauna habitats. The
explosion from the bombs will also destroy the
environment. As a result of this destruction,
radioactive contamination from the bombs and
weapons used will spread to the surrounding
area. Plants and animals will die and had no
where to live because they have been
destroyed through the war.

In conclusion, war brings harm and damage
to the whole world especially in terms of
economy, politics, national development and so
on. The awareness of the bad effects of this
war must be created and applied to people so
that they love peace. Every problem needs to
be solved well and wisely so that there is no
outbreak of war. Countries must cultivate the
spirit of tolerance and harmony in order to
avoid conflict and war. Every war that occurs
not only kills thousands of innocent lives, but
also disrupts the country’s economic and
political development. Therefore, we must be
united to maintain the harmony of the country
from war.
