Kylemark has an In-House Embroidery and Printing facility which can process over 1000 garments per day ensuring your
staff uniform performs as good as it looks and is delivered within a short time scale, meeting your business needs at an
economical cost.
EMBROIDERY
Embroidery is by far the most popular. It’s ideal for reproducing anything from a simple one colour logo to complex multi
coloured designs. Hard wearing and able to withstand multiple washes, embroidery lasts the test of time better than any
other branding process. With no minimum order and a low set-up cost it’s first choice for most of our customers.
PRINTING & TRANSFERS
Printing can be broken down into several different processes and the kind we use will be dependent on type of garment,
complexity of design and volume. Together we can decide which method will work best for you. Whether it’s Screen Printing,
Digital Print, Cad Cut or Heat Seal Transfers, we will produce everything in house giving us great control over the whole processes.
LEATHER EMBOSSING & LASER ETCHING
This process gives a superb 3-dimensional look to leather products. By either creating a metal die stamp which
is then heated and pneumatic pressed into the leather or using a laser to burn the design giving a relief of your
emblem or logo. This is a very classy way of enhancing your brand image on leather garments.
TAX TABBING
Tax Tabbing is a simple way of making logo free uniforms tax exempt. Including this subtle form of branding
changes the uniform class from staff ‘fringe benefit’ and hence taxable to tax free ‘work wear’. These tabs can be
attached to a wide variety of garments in various positions and are ideal for corporate wear.

Chartwells supply meals and housekeeping to independent schools all over the country and is relied upon in countless 12
senior, prep and boarding schools. Their no compromise ethos is also expected in their staff’s appearance.
Chartwells called us on the back of a recommendation from one of their sister companies, Restaurant Associates. We
learned the company were in the process of re-branding a whole new corporate image, known as the Whisk Project.
Chartwells knew exactly their requirements so it was easy to initially supply a range of garment samples to be assessed
for quality and style. We then went on to produce the fully embroidered or tax tabbed uniform range for Management,
Customer Service, Chefs, Porters and Stores. This collection included a wide range of garments, from Corporate suits,
shirts, trousers and dresses to Hospitality aprons, polos, cargo pants and waistcoats, as well as an assortment of jackets
and accessories.
The range was then presented to the Chartwells Managers at Food Festivals in both London and Bristol. In conjunction
with this presentation we created a 32 page Ordering Guide with the initial uniform range and how to order online
through our popular Uniform Buyer system.
At the end of August, ready for the start of the new term, Uniform Buyer went live. Supplying over 120 units UK wide we
initially opened a four week ordering window that guaranteed uniform delivery by the start of the school year.
Every piece of uniform was branded, whether with embroidery or tax tab; more than
20,000 garments.
The Uniform Buyer system ensured each individual employee, over 2000 of them, received their personal ‘wearer pack’
bagged with only their own specific uniform.
The feedback from Chartwells Independent has been overwhelmingly positive. Chartwells Independent demanded a
great service, as they should, and that’s what they get from Kylemark.
