PREFACE

This series THE COLORFUL WORLD OF MATHEMATICS is
crafted to provide every preschooler a colorful and exciting
material to use in learning Beginning Mathematics more
effectively. The competencies in this book are all aligned to
the K to 12 Curriculum of the Department of Education.

The lessons across the chapters are presented in a
sequential, simple and creative approach to ensure that the
activities are tailored to the nature, needs and abilities of the
young learners. The significant number of colorful and fun
exercises in this book allow the preschoolers to strengthen their
mathematical and thinking skills and to deepen subsequently
