Alhamdulillah bersyukur kehadrat Allah SWT kerana dengan limpah kurnianya Pameran Projek
Pelajar (DFT50114 Integrated Project) Sesi 2 2021/2022 Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat dan
Komunikasi Politeknik Kuching Sarawak dapat dilaksanakan dengan jayanya.

Pameran Projek Akhir Pelajar (DFT50114) kali ini adalah penganjuran program di peringkat jabatan
yang melibatkan 16 penyertaan yang terdiri daripada pelajar semester akhir Trek Pembangunan
Perisian dan Aplikasi serta Sistem Rangkaian.

Program seumpama ini sangat signifikan dalam memainkan peranan untuk membudayakan aktiviti
inovasi dan pembangunan sistem bagi penyelesaian masalah dalam kalangan pelajar JTMK. Saya
menyifatkan pameran ini bertujuan menyemarakkan usaha di kalangan pelajar ke arah
kecemerlangan dan keberkesanan penghasilan projek inovasi yang boleh memberi manfaat kepada
masyarakat.

Saya yakin dan percaya aktiviti ini mampu menghasilkan pelajar yang berinovasi dan berfikiran
kreatif selaras dengan misi dan visi Politeknik Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia. Syabas dan
tahniah diucapkan kepada semua pensyarah penyelia dan pelajar di atas komitmen yang diberikan
sepanjang proses penghasilan projek dijalankan.

Akhir kata, saya ingin mengucapkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah dan penghargaan kepada semua AJK
yang terlibat dalam menjayakan program Projek Akhir DFT50114 Sesi 2 2021/2022 Jabatan
Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi Politeknik Kuching Sarawak terutamanya Tuan Pengarah
Politeknik Kuching atas sokongan yang diberikan. Semoga pencapaian yang diraih dalam pameran
ini akan menjadi momen yang bersejarah kepada para peserta yang bertanding. JTMK komited

Alhamdulillah dan syukur ke hadrat Ilahi kerana
Pameran Projek Pelajar JTMK Sesi 2 2021/2022 telah
disempurnakan.

Tanpa sokongan daripada pihak atasan, rakan sejawat dan pelajar
yang terlibat, sama ada secara langsung atau tidak langsung,
mungkin aktiviti ini tidak dapat dilaksanakan dengan jayanya.
Saya juga ingin mengucapkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan tahniah
kepada semua pelajar projek akhir yang telah bertungkus-lumus dalam menyiapkan projek akhir
masing-masing sehingga mampu mempamerkan kesan yang sangat tinggi terhadap penghasilan
produk akhir anda.

Kami sebagai golongan pendidik sangat mengagumi usaha yang ditunjukkan oleh para pelajar
sekalian. Semoga usaha gigih anda memberi pulangan yang setimpal dengan pengorbanan yang

Greetings,
First of all, I would like to thank the FYP Secretariat from the Department of Information and
Communication Technology (JTMK) for allowing me to evaluate the final project for Session
2 2021/2022.
I would like to congratulate all JTMK students for succeeding in producing your final project
as best they can. I was informed by the FYP Secretariat that the final project for this
semester is one hundred percent done by online/virtual platform as compared with our
situation before this, which is everything done by face to face and always refer to supervisor
and lecturers as well.
I hope with the project DFT50114 INTEGRATED PROJECT. Students can be mentally
prepared for upcoming industrial training and the real world of work thereafter. “Success

PENGENALAN
PAMERAN PROJEK PELAJAR

Pameran PROJEK PELAJAR (DFT50114 INTEGRATED PROJECT) SESI 2 2021/2022 adalah
merupakan suatu program di bawah anjuran Unit Projek Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat dan
Komunikasi (JTMK) dengan kerjasama Unit Pensyarah Pelawat Industri (PPI). Program ini
dilaksanakan khas untuk pelajar-pelajar semester akhir mempersembahkan hasil projek
akhir mereka. Di samping itu, program ini juga merupakan pentas terbaik untuk
mempromosikan para pelajar Politeknik Kuching Sarawak kepada pihak industri melalui
penghasilan projek mereka agar pihak industri lebih peka dengan kebolehan dan kemahiran
yang dimiliki oleh pelajar Politeknik Kuching Sarawak.

Objektif program ini adalah:
1. Menjadi platform untuk pelajar mempersembahkan hasil kerja projek mereka dan

berkongsi ilmu serta pengalaman bersama.
2. Membolehkan agensi luar lebih memahami apa yang dipelajari oleh pelajar dan secara

khasnya dalam bidang ICT.
3. Mempromosikan kebolehan dan kemahiran yang diperolehi oleh graduan Politeknik

Kuching Sarawak.

Melalui penganjuran program seumpama ini diharapkan dapat memberikan impak dan
manfaat kepada para pelajar untuk meningkatkan keberkesanan pembelajaran dan
keupayaan dalam penghasilan kerja berkualiti melalui potensi kemahiran dan prestasi diri.
Justeru, dapat memupuk kemahiran berkomunikasi, semangat berpasukan serta
meningkatkan gaya pemikiran secara kreatif dan kritis.

The Rural Attraction Booking website is a project implemented
for promoter to promote their place. It provide customer with an
easy to book places , event and services. The interface of the
Rural Attraction Booking Website is Web pages that can be
accessed with a Web site browser. The system is implemented
in PHP ( Hypertext Preprocessor), HTML (Hyper Text Markup
Language) , CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) and JavaScript.. We
build a website and develop a website to advertise events,
services, and the rural appeal of places. Tourism is one of the
most important sectors for the development of a country. This is
because of the contribution of tourism that brings revenue and
good returns to a country in terms of national income. From April
2022, we enter the epidemic transition phase (Covid-19 Malaysia,
20 brigades 22). At this stage, tourism will open up and people
can go where people want to go, and with deals and new rural
places. We built this website to allow promoters to add different
and many interesting rural attractions, so that customers can
find a tour package that suits them in every budget, depending
on the tourist attractions.

For newer cat owners taking care of a cat can be a big challenge
and not knowing what to do can lead to devastating results for
the health of their cat. With our product this will help the newer
and even experience cat owner. This product will allow the
owners to get valuable data on their cats through a website
called Thing Speak, like the cat's weight and how many times
they use the litterbox, which will help the owner see whether
there cat are growing normally or if there is anything unusual in
their growth. Not refilling the litterbox with sand can lead to the
cat to act differently which could stress the cat and even the
owner themselves. This product will help the owner by notifying
the owner via email if the need to refill the litterbox or not.

An audit is the process of evaluation or analysis of something to
determine its accuracy or safety or is the document that declares
the result of such analysis or evaluation. Aims to enable all staff
to provide appropriate ideas for implementation in the
workplace. It also aims to make all staff better understand that
the improvement is not limited to individuals or certain things.
Before this auditing process is done by a human being in the
written system, the auditor needs to take down the locations and
problems, take pictures and send them manually to the person in
charge for reminding. This Auditool Poliku project is to facilitate
auditors to do auditing works. Our system prepares a page where
the auditor can upload the pictures, select the locations and
state the problem. This system also enables the auditor to
upload the audit finding individually. We developed the Auditool
Poliku system that could help auditors to make the audit process
easier and systematic. It can save the data and the list will
appear on the page that we prepared. Our system can display
other auditor reports for references.

TITLE SMART INDOOR WATERING SYSTEM (SWATS)

The project demonstrates how one can use a soil moisture
sensor and water pump to monitor and record the moisture
changes in a plant's soil indoors and keep the soil moist while
away from home, which we named the Smart Indoor Watering
System (SWatS). The soil for a specific duration provides
information related to the moisture status of the soil. The data
from the sensors will be collected and processed by ESP8266.
Water will be supplied accordingly when the soil reaches a
specific moisture level. This is necessary because the plant
needs water for a specific period to produce a decent yield. This
project is suitable for those who enjoy having plants in their
homes, as it eliminates the need for standard or manual
irrigation systems.

Politeknik Kuching Sarawak still using manual log book to
manage the Covid case records. This method is time-consuming
and inconvenient, the productivity is lowered by having to spend
excessive time dealing with a paper filing system. With manual
or somewhat automated systems, information is frequently
written down, copied, or entered more than once. Therefore,
systemization can help to eliminate data entering duplication.
The Covid-19 Response Team(CRT) was developed to improve
this situation by recording Covid cases via a contactless digital
platform. CRT is built by integrating web-based system with a
centralized database. This system is efficient and cost-effective.

COVID-19 was labelled a global pandemic by the World Health
Organization on March 11, 2020, meaning that the sickness had
spread globally (World Health Organization, 2020). We need to
implement new government-directed rules in our lives to prevent
the rise in Covid-19 instances. S-vacs is a web-based system for
updating vaccine status owing to Covid-19, updating our vaccine
and Covid-19 status online for our collage. This website will
allow you to check whether or not a student has been
vaccinated. S-VACS allows students to perform things like
update their covid status and vaccines online, and
administrators can view the report. Visual Studio Code is a
software program used by S-VACS and JTMK student, is our
target user.

TITLE BLUETOOTH LUNCH BOX

ABSTRACT This project idea is focusing on Internet of Things
(IOT) which is to develop a portable and smart bluetooth
controlled lunch box using mobile application. The Bluetooth
Lunch Box (BLB) has 4 different heating duration based on types
of food in the lunch box. User also can set time to heat their food
in the lunch whenever they want. As for the price, the lunch box
offer approximately above one hundred ringgit. BLB allows user
to connect their lunch via bluetooth android devices. In this 21st
century [1], lunch box alternatively known as lunch kit is a
portable container used for carry food for later consumption. The
methodology used in this project is Agile methodology. A total 6
phases are put for this project. This methodology consists of
planning phase which a few analysis were made such as
analyzing the project requirements and understanding how users
use their lunch box, designing phase where heating system and
the mobile controller application is completed in this phase,
development phase where the lunch box heating systems and
the mobile controller app were developed, integration and testing
the completed Bluetooth Lunch Box (BLB) and make
improvement of the lunch box and mobile application, implement
and deployment phase and lastly the review phase. This project
took 14 weeks to complete. This project will benefit office
workers, students and parent to enjoy hot and delicious meal.

Most students have trouble managing their hectic studying
schedule. Thus, it might effect their course works and getting
good results for the semester. One of the reason for this to
happen is students tend to forget their upcoming assessments.
Which will result in them not turning in their assessments on
time or not prepared to answer any quizzes or tests. Other than
that, students sometimes can’t access notes due to poor internet
connection. Student Reminder App was created to address this
issue so that it will ease student to manage their schedule and
have a place to store their notes. This application is developed
by using Android Studio. It is cost-effective and efficient.

Vote IT’s Club is an online voting system that is used by students
and lectures specially for JTMK IT Club in Politeknik Kuching
.The purpose if this system is allows voters and election
observers to verify that votes have been recorded, tallied and
declared correctly, in a manner independent from the hardware
and software running the election .It also make it easier for
students to vote .in addition, students can view the voter
candidate details in the system .This system also displays the
results after voting .Our system is online voting system that
facilitates user (voter), candidate and administrator (who will be
in charge and will verify all the user and information) to
participate in online voting. our online voting system is highly
secured, and it has a simple and interactive user interface. The
proposed online portal is secured and have unique security
feature such as unique id generation that adds another layer of
security (except login id and password) and It also creates and
manages voting and an election detail as all the users must login
by user name and password and click on candidates to register
vote. Our system is also equipped with a view the result after
doing the vote. this helps the users in the voting process.

The software development process, as well as the various
phases involved in the development process, needs to be taken
into account in order to ensure proper accomplishment of the
goals. Software engineering deals with the use of software
systems for a variety of system operations. The use of this form
of engineering is highly common in the modern world and
contributes to significant positive developments in regard to
organizational performances. Various common devices such as
smart phones and computing devices require the use of software
for proper operations and achievement of performance goals.

This system is to develop a computerized and mobilized food
ordering system that can be used to revolutionize the traditional
ordering system that currently implemented in majority of the
restaurant. The traditional system that using by most restaurant
is the traditional manual ordering system which means all works
and procedures is recorded through manpower manual work and
it consist of a huge amount of paper work that is not effective
and efficiency. This cause the business to encounter trouble
which regarding human error due to the huge amount of
manpower manual work that operating in each business routine.
Thus, this computerized and mobilized food ordering system is
designed to assist the business routine in term of having better
management as well as easier to handle daily business
operation. This system is designed for small restaurant. The
chosen methodology for this project is throwaway prototyping
methodology. This is because majority of the targeted user do
not have the experience in using computerized system in food
ordering procedure as they implement traditional ordering
system previously. Therefore, this methodology enables
developer to communicate with target user through using the
prototyping, which can let target user to review, evaluate,
visualize and learn about the system before the actual
implementation of the final system. Furthermore, the system is a
cross platform system which involve desktop based and mobile
phone based which is in Android operating system. It is also the
highlighted feature of the system which does not limited the
ordering procedures to desktop based as portable and mobility is
the current trend. Besides that, with this feature it also provide a
degree of level of self service for targeted users’ consumers, as
they can place order themselves through using the mobile
application.

The automatic fish feeder is an automatic feeder device
designed for fish owners, using Arduino and mobile apps.
Unfortunately, sometimes fish owners have a busy daily
schedule and could not feed their pets on time. With this tool, it
could help the users to manage their time well in scheduling the
fish's feeding time. The machine is basically using IoT concepts
which it uses Internet to access mobile devices and The IoT
devices. The timer installed in the device is capable to feed the
fish as scheduled. Therefore, users could travel without worrying
when leaving their fish unfed. The device is also planned to help
the users to control the feeding time remotely

In this modern era, every technology has advance and move to a
new level. However, those that unfortunate such as the visually
impaired people still using traditional aids as their tools to help
assist them to walk in public. To overcome this, we created a
Smart Walking Cane to aid them navigate easily and safely. With
Smart Walking Cane, the device can detect an upcoming object
or obstacles through the ultrasonic sensor. This device also
prove to be very cheap cost solution to all blind person.
Furthermore, the device also comes with GPS tracker. The GPS
able to read the real time location of the user from the
application software. The GPS also comes with extra features
which is an emergency button that can be push by the user in
case of danger. Other than that, the buzzer will admit an adaptive
level of beeping depending on the distance of the obstacle. The
Smart Walking Cane was mainly developed to improved the

These days, a lot of people are interested in plant. Other than
watering the plant, we also need to know what type of plant that
is suitable to get the right amount of sun. The purpose of our
project is to help new gardeners to take care of their plants.
Some plants do not need too much sunlight, getting too much
sunlight can make the plants to wilt or even die. Some gardeners
had difficulties moving the plant pot constantly to avoid getting
direct sunlight. Our project is friendly used by home gardener
and to detect the humidity and provide protection to the plant.
We will be using Arduino IDE for our project. Smart Plant Shield
is the name we choose for this project. .

Nowadays , just like human its important for pets to be well
hydrated. Keeping your pet hydrated is an essential part of
maintaining a healthy lifestyle. A constant supply of fresh water
is essential, but using a pet water fountain instead of a
traditional water bowl for our pet is a healthier, safer, and more
reasonable solution those with added features like a filtration
system and activated carbon filter. Today’s , its pretty obvious
that most of pet owner are turning into water fountains since its
a good alternative for their cats to drink more water and saves a
lots of their time too. In order to help this kind of owner, we have
decided to come out with Water Fountains for pets to make their
life easier. This Water Fountains will be able to fill up their pet’s
water automatically if its finished. Every user can control the
amount of water from afar using applications through their
mobile devices

This project is for to detect metal or non metal even when
covered by an non-metal object or buried in the ground. This
project also include a buzzer and the buzzer will on if its detect
the metal or non metal. This project have a magnet to easily
confirm that is the metal and the magnet also can easily help to
carry thing that is metal. If that is not non metal the buzzer will
on and after that it will confirm with the magnet to detect that is
metal or non metal. This project is make from arduino and all the
thing to make this project is all from the recycle thing like
dustbin stick. This project is full from the iot arduino.
