Before working on the “professional services side” of the
health care marketing industry, Didi Discar spent 11 years
on the “client side,” having worked her way from Field Sales within Wyeth-Ayerst (now Pfizer), to Managed Markets Sales at AstraMerck (now AstraZeneca), and eventually to Marketing at Dura/Elan Pharmaceuticals and Allergan Pharmaceuticals. Most notably, Didi had marketing oversight and responsibility for the US launches of ALPHAGAN® P and RESTASIS®. Didi has helped to strategize and execute nearly 50 brands.

Randy Adams
/ Executive Vice President, Client Strategy
Randy Adams also began his career in Field Sales. Having made his mark as a top salesperson at Dura/Elan Pharmaceuticals,
he made his way into Sales Analytics, and then made his first impact in marketing at Women First Healthcare. His marketing experience expanded when he joined Allergan, where he
was a product manager on RESTASIS® and launched the first direct-to-consumer campaign for the brand. Randy eventually became Director of Marketing for the entire dry eye franchise and also held the role of Marketing Director for External Disease Brands, with commercial and launch responsibility for ACUVAIL®. Randy also has medical device marketing experience in aesthetic dentistry, having spent nearly 2 years as Director of North America Marketing for Zimmer Dental.

Lisa Pecora

Lisa Pecora brings to Carling over a dozen years leading nance teams and advising on corporate and operational strategy across multiple industries. Prior to joining Carling Communications
in early 2014, she spent the previous 5 years driving e ciency and scalable, nancial analytics for CareFusion, a leader in the medical device industry. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in nance, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Sherri Wilkins
/Chief Creative Officer
Sherri Wilkins has 15 years of creative leadership experience
in health care advertising, including a deep background in Medical Aesthetics and Medical Dermatology. At Carling, she has served as creative lead on the launches of Cosmederm’s Refinity® Skin Science product line and Merz’s injectable portfolio. Prior to joining Carling, she served as the creative lead on several cosmeceutical product launches, including Stiefel’s Revaléskin® and Obagi Medical, and worked on brands for ALPHAEON, KYTHERA, Suneva, Regenica®, and Allergan. On the Medical Dermatology side, Sherri worked on Stiefel’s topical steroid portfolio, and various other brands for Stiefel, SkinMedica®, and Galderma. Sherri is a strategic thinker who always keeps her audience top of mind. For her, a brand’s strategic imperatives must connect to the creative solution and vice versa—in the end, the creative should always help move the needle.

Nik Patel

Nik Patel’s background includes 14 years of pharmaceutical experience across a wide variety of venues. He has owned his own pharmacy business; he has been a Medical Science Liaison; he led the Medical A airs group at ThromboGenics, Inc. Through this diverse experience, he has worked across the spectrum of Medical A airs, giving him a unique perspective to share with
his clients. Nik received his doctorate of pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences and followed that up with a postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Communications/ Education through the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships. Nik uses his vast experience in medical communications and the pharmaceutical industry to deliver best-in-class results for his clients.

Jennifer Redmond
/ Senior Vice President, Medical Strategy
Jennifer Redmond’s 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry have included successful tenures with two top aesthetic companies, Allergan and Merz Aesthetics. At Merz, she single-handedly overhauled the marketing strategy of BELOTERO® BALANCE, creating and executing campaigns that di erentiated the brand from competitors and boosted sales. Jennifer’s keen scienti c understanding of facial aesthetics products and devices has led to wide renown and a strong reputation within the dermatology and plastic surgery communities. Before transitioning to dermatology and aesthetics, she spent the rst 10 years of her career in neurology, focused on epilepsy, movement disorders, and migraine. She also has expertise in neuromodulators, working with 3 of the 4 available products, MYOBLOC® for cervical dystonia and, within the aesthetic market, BOTOX® COSMETIC and XEOMIN®. Jennifer’s ability to guide science-backed strategies coupled with her desire and ability to build lasting professional relationships drives her success.

Sarah Pirch
/ Senior Copywriter
Sarah Pirch has more than 20 years’ experience crafting copy, with over 10 years in pharmaceutical advertising. She has worked on numerous Medical Dermatology brands for Allergan and Valeant, including topical therapies for psoriasis and acne (Tazorac® and Aczone®) and actinic keratosis (Efudex®). Sarah has also written copy for injectables for Amgen, Sano , and Allergan in a variety of therapeutic areas, such
as hypercholesterolemia (Repatha), post-chemotherapy neutrophil recovery (Leukine®), and Medical Aesthetics (Botox® Cosmetic and Juvéderm®). At Carling, she has helped lead the creative development of the Global campaign for Alcon’s Systane Family of Products for

David Gokhin, PhD

Kristian Secor has more than 15 years of development experience and has produced over 150 websites and applications for diverse markets such as school districts and sports franchises. Kristian has an EdD in Instructional Leadership with a focus on educational technology.
He has taught web design topics for 14 years at the university level, ranging from server-side programming to user experience and mobile development, and has taught over 200 courses in
