The data gained from this question all seemed to come under the same
theme of a disagreement with how teens are represented in media, with
many responses mentioning its harmfulness toward the expectations of
teens on how life is supposed to be, showing a large agreement that the
romanticisation is a negative aspect of the modern teen movie.

The data for age wasn’t very diverse, with all but one of the respondents being between
17-18 years old and the outlier being 34 years old.

The genders of respondents are mostly evened out with eight male, six female
and one respondent who chose not to say. Furthermore, it was the female
respondents who mostly expressed the greatest interest in the teen genre and
the importance of realism within it. The overall response to the screenplay idea
was mixed among all genders.

Once again in correlation to the ages all being similar the number of students that
took the survey matches up to that, with a few exceptions. As expected, the students
as well as the one teacher who responded were receptive to the media’s
fictionalisation of teen culture and the ignorance surrounding the mental health of
teens.
