Our alumni make things happen in the musical
world. This can be attributed to the Eastman Alarm Will Sound
experience, both inside and outside of the studio
and classroom. They learned to engage with
their peers, to collaborate, communicate, and
share ideas. Many of them perform and teach in
what might be described as ‘traditional’ careers,
performing with major orchestras and opera
companies, or teaching at the secondary and
collegiate levels. They also create their own
ensembles, become arts administrators, and
otherwise serve as leaders in their communities
and in the musical world at large.
