Sprinting Forward

SOME OF THE EVENTS WE PARTICIPATED IN THIS YEAR:

Koda’s Kids is a nonprofit organization founded by
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dekoda Watson.

Watson, who is from Aiken, SC, wanted to create a
foundation that promotes education and physical
fitness, and through events, the foundation
awards scholarships to high school students in
Aiken County and surrounding areas. This year,
Sprint provided the water for over 400 children
and teens who participated in the 2017 Koda’s
Kids Football and Cheerleading Camp in July.

Fit 4 School is a community-wide event
hosted at the Aiken County YMCA each year
where businesses in the CSRA donate and
distribute school supplies to families. The
event not only offered free school supplies,
but free health screenings, free food and
entertainment. This year, Sprint set up a
booth at the event and passed out supplies
and water to the families who attended.

RALLY FOR RECOVERY

Rally for Recovery is an annual event hosted by the Hope
House in Augusta each September during National Recovery

Month. The event offers information for people who are
recovering from different mental and substance use disorders.
The rally is family-friendly event with food and entertainment,

and Sprint donated water to support the event this year.

This year, Sprint set up a booth at the
Georgia Carolina State Fair in

Augusta. We offered games, free tea
and allowed people to sign up for the

Sprint Super Saver cards.

SC Association of Convenience Stores and United Way

Golf Tournaments

The SC Association of Convenience Stores represents
more than 2,122 retail stores and 300 suppliers in SC.
Sprint sponsored a hole at the 2017 SCACS Golf Classic.

Sprint was also a sponsor of
another golf tournament on
Fri, Oct 27 and raised close to
$7000 for the United Way!

Each year, on the weekend of the South Carolina vs. Georgia football game, fans of the Gamecocks and
Bulldogs come together on the Savannah River in Augusta, Georgia, to celebrate the rivalry game. The
Border Bash features cheerleaders from both teams, food, music, and many vendors. All money raised
during the event goes to help children's charities in the CSRA. Sprint was a 2017 Border Bash sponsor.
