1987] London Transport Museum Hidden London: https://bit.ly/3xogDKV more dates are now available
to book and a new Shepherd's Bush walking tour. It opened in 1900, the Western terminus of the new
Central London Railway. This cut through the centre of London linking the western suburbs with the City.
From Shepherd's Bush, passengers could catch a tram to go further on one ticket, making it West London's
most important transport hub in the early 20th century. The station has had several renovations and
upgrades, so it is almost unrecognisable from the original. Behind closed doors and grilles, the old station
corridors and lift shafts are still there. Visit one of the best examples of original Central line design, learn
about the line's history, the third deep Tube railway to be built in London, see the engineering behind
cooling the famously warm line and how these passageways were used in unexpected ways 80 years ago.

X.158] BLS Niedersachsen Explorer (9-11 Sep) UPDATE: With thanks to our organiser, Paul Griffin.
Note that from the timings received it is not always possible to identify departure or arrival times.
Timings in italics are connections to or from the tour. We appear to have most of what we wanted, but
are requesting clarification in some areas. The rules on masks in Germany change frequently, no one
knows what the situation will be, but our organisers' approach is that unless requested by the
authorities, they do not require masks to be worn on our railtour. Spaces remain see website to book.
