The Little Kitten

MY LITTLE
KITTEN

It was a Tuesday morning, the refreshing wind was
blowing through the branches. I was at school with Alia, my
best friend since we were in a lower form. We met in a
Form 2 class, and since then,we have been inseparable.
Alia and I were heading to the first class of the day which
was English class with Teacher Azlina. She is every
student’s favourite teacher because she is such a soft-
spoken and kind-hearted person. Students can not help but
respect how she taught and treated us as students. It was
a blessing to have a teacher like Teacher Azlina.

As soon as the class ended, I ran as if a tiger was
chasing me behind my back to meet my other friend,
Miza. Miza, who is my friend has been through thick
and thin with me since we were in secondary school.
However, everyone acknowledged her parents are
protective and strict in the neighbourhood, so it is not
easy for her to go outside without permission. Miza,
Alia, and I went to the sea to watch the sunset because
it was a kind of therapy for us.

I was feeling a bit dizzy, and I felt like my head was spinning. I
decided to take a nap under the tree for a while. Not long after
that, Alia came and asked me to accompany her to the toilet
while Miza was searching for some food. I refused to fulfil her
request as I was not feeling well but she kept insisting I
accompany her. There is nothing I can do, I threw away my
annoyance and woke up to accompany her. We walked along the
small path, it was full of lights and had different colours and
kinds. Alia and I cannot take our eyes off the lights while walking
to the toilet. While I was waiting for Alia outside the toilet, Miza
approached me as she was done with the food. Then, Alia
finished up from the toilet and came to us.

Out of the blue, we heard a kitten meowing from somewhere asking
for help. At first, we did not know where it came from, but luckily
Miza found out that the sound came from the top of the tree. We did
not have any idea how to rescue the kitten because it was too high
for us to reach. Alia called the firefighter right away since we did not
find any easy way to take the kitten. While waiting for the firefighter,
the kitten kept meowing aggressively and wanted to step down.
Luckily, the firefighter came and as soon as possible reached the
tree and figured out how to climb up tree because it was such a big
and tall tree. The firefighter climbed up and used the ladder while the
other firefighter held it so it did not move. The firefighter managed to
bring the kitten safely without any circumstances.

I thought of adopting the kitten since I did not see the other cat
searching for their baby. I decided to take the kitten with me and
thank the firefighter for coming all the way to rescue the little
kitten. A month later, my friends came to my house to celebrate
my birthday party together. My parents threw the best party ever
I enjoyed it with my family and friends. Suddenly, I saw my cat
running away from the living room to the outside. I chased her
but unfortunately, I was late. All of sudden she was hit by a big
lorry. I burst into tears and fell on the road. My parents came to
me and persuaded me. It was an unforgettable birthday.
